MrBeast - real name Jimmy Donaldson - is best known for his outlandish video content, throwing money about in typically bizarre yet enthralling games and for his position as the most followed and highest earning YouTuber in history, accumulating a whopping $54 million net worth in 2021.

However, just because MrBeast splashes the cash on other people - and earns a lot of it himself - doesn't mean he lives the lifestyle we may expect.

Not only has the YouTuber won the heart's of the public by curing 1,000 people's blindness, but his revelations surrounding his pretty humble living have also caused fans to swoon.

In a clip from an interview by Tiny Meat Gang (TMG) Studios MrBeast agrees he 'essentially' lives in a 'little dorm room'.

The content creator continues: "I have a Tesla, but even then, I kinda wanna sell it.

"I think one of the traps of modern humans is just living a materialistic life and just chasing s**t non-stop. For what? Why does it matter? We just chase bigger and bigger boxes to live in, faster and faster cars. why? Why not just skip all that and do fun s**t?

"[...] If you have a $10 million mansion and five Lamborghinis and all this s**t then you have to like worry, like, 'Oh s**t if things fall apart I can't afford my lifestyle'.

"I don't give a f**k, I live in a dorm room. My s**t could fall apart tomorrow and my lifestyle doesn't change. So there's also a lot of peace of mind with that, because I don't have to maintain anything."

People have since flocked to social media in praise of MrBeast.

One wrote: "I just think this guy actually gets it. Impressive. If I had his income streams, I’d be spending a few million more."

"Love this! More money more problems..focus on your enjoyment in life…not “stuff” that just brings more worries and takes away your peace and time. Seems like a really good dude," another commented.

A third said: "THIS is why I like Mr b. I respect his hussle."

"MrBeast is a really humble guy at heart," a final added.

However, others noted how - despite MrBeast's powerful condemnation of materialism - the YouTuber is still 'rocking a Gucci jacket' in the interview. Touché.
