A resurfaced TikTok video has shocked viewers after Holly Willoughby got slapped on the bum live on air by a co-host.

The programme was a children's TV show called Ministry of Mayhem, which was hosted by Holly and presenter Brian Dowling.

She appears to introduce the segment by calling over her cost 'Captain Scarlett.'

Brian replies: "You're barking up the wrong tree, love. Try Captain Black."

That's where the This Morning presenter turns her back Brian slaps her on the backside after walking off.

Holly's TV career kickstarted in 2002 with doing children's shows, the first being, when she presented factual show for kids called Xchange.

She then continued to host various other shows for CBBC, such as Xperimental and CBBC at the Fame Academy.

That's when she moved to CITV Saturday show Ministry Of Mayhem in 2004, which was later renamed to Holly & Stephen's Saturday Showdown to better reflect the show.

After 2005, she presented Feel the Fear - a children's entertainment programme where various challenges are set up for the kids.

Holly did a few more gigs before eventually settling down on ITV's This Morning in 2009 with Philip Schofield.
