Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star Masika Kalysha faked a kidnapping, claiming she was doing it to raise awareness for a sex trafficking charity.
The actor posted a video to her Instagram account of herself with her body battered and bruised, claiming she had been attacked.

In the clip, Kalysha can be seen turning around to show the extent of her injuries, urging her fans to send money to her OnlyFans account in order to save her from the wrath of the kidnappers.
Following a backlash, the video was later deleted. In another post, the 35-year-old admitted that it was a stunt and claimed the makeup was for a new series she was starring in.
She also claimed the aim was to raise awareness of the work being done by the R.O.S.E Organization, a non-profit foundation in the US which supports victims of trafficking.
However, the head of the charity, Toni. D. Rivera, said that neither she nor anyone from the foundation had given Kalysha permission to act on their behalf.
In the caption to a video refuting the actor's claims, Rivera said: "It was brought to my attention that Masika has done a kidnapping scene & a go fund me in an effort to support my nonprofit organisation ROSE.

"I nor my team DID NOT ASK NOR approve of this representation! We would never accept money raised from a porn site called Fans Only [sic] nor any mockery of this traumatic experience that may have triggered some of my follower who have been victims... I'm sure she meant well, but she is NOT a spokesman for my organisation."
But the story doesn't end there.
After Rivera's strongly-worded rebuttal, Kalysha hit back, sharing what she claimed was a letter from the charity's board asking her to do what she could to help spread the word.
The alleged letter said: "Your exuberant enthusiasm, your life story and an established trajectory of committing to serve others is most honourable. You are the kind of person we need on our platform. More important, you are who the world needs to see to heal broken hearts and restore the lives of women, children and men to wholeness."
Rivera claimed this letter was faked, however, and she urged the actor to stop what she was doing.

In a response to the letter, Rivera posted a video, in which she said: "I don't know what you're trying to do homegirl, but I'm not the one.
"That letter, whatever you sent or posted, that's not me. I didn't write that, I didn't text that, I didn't sing you that, it's not even on my letter head.
"Don't know who could have did it but you had no permission to do anything you did with the video, you had no permission nor approval or anything."
Kalysha later shared a video from her phone, showing her accessing the emails she claims to have received from Rivera and R.O.S.E. with the letter visible.

Once again, Rivera has since stated she never contacted the actor and warned that Kalysha would be hearing from her lawyers.
