Man Rescued At 10am After Falling Asleep In Nightclub

Yep, the poor man fell asleep in a nightclub toilet and ended up locked inside the building all night - only to be finally rescued the following morning when people heard him banging on the club door.

I'm guessing this wasn't exactly how he imagined his evening to turn out.

Officer workers raised the alarm after they heard banging coming from the Theatro Club, in Málaga, Spain.

One worker,Javi Gabarron, said: "We heard someone banging on the metal door and a voice shouting: 'Is there anybody there?'"

He then explained there was a man shouting from behind the venue's door saying he'd just woken up after falling asleep in a toilet.

Of course, the guy was even more red-faced to learn it wasn't just that he was locked in the bogs, but to add insult to injury it was already 10am - turns out he didn't have his mobile with him and had lost all concept of what time of day it was.

As shown in the video Javi did manage to contact the club owner, who arrived to release the embarrassed-looking club-goer, who still had his drink in hand - well, in for a penny...

He gave the drink to the owner and made an understandably sheepish farewell.

Though it wasn't the 'all-nighter' the poor guy would presumably have been after, viewers on social media have found his plight hilarious.

One person simply commented: "Amazing story."

While another said: "What a professional! When I grow up I want to be just like him."

This guy can definitely sleep well with the knowledge that he's not the only person for it to happen to. The rapper Stormzy went one better when he not only got locked in a toilet cubicle but got locked in the women's loos.

Stormzy made his incident quite public after he posted a snapchat picture of himself, at the 2017 EMAs, where he said: "Came to buss a shit but accidentally when in [sic] the girl's toilets so I can hear bare girls outside, but if I pop out now imma look mad creepy."

Fortunately, he was able to make it onto the stage, just in time, after texting a friend to come save him - but the world already knew and knew it was him.

At least the guy in Spain can keep his anonymity, but I don't think he'll be going back the Theatro Club any time soon
