Mighty Ducks star Shaun Weiss is 'thriving' in a new rehab clinic, a friend has revealed.
Drew Gallagher took to social media last month after meeting up with 41-year-old Shaun, and shared a photo of the pair together, with the former actor looking better following his recent struggles with drugs.
Posting the snap on his Facebook page, Drew said he wanted to give people a bit of information about how his friend was doing.

Following the post, friends and fans piled into the comments to share their best wishes with Shaun.

While another added: "Wow, what a massive difference in the last few months. You're doing great."

This latest pic comes after it was revealed that Shaun had been arrested at the beginning of this year.
The actor was taken in on Sunday 26 January at around 7am, after cops were called out to a burglary in progress in Marysville in California. When they arrived at the scene, the homeowner told cops there was a man inside his garage who 'did not belong there'.
A statement from Marysville Police said that once inside the garage, cops found Shaun inside the homeowner's car, after he had 'forced entry to gain access by shattering a window'.
The report goes on to say that the actor 'displayed symptoms of being under the influence of methamphetamine' and admitted that 'the vehicle he was filtering through was not his'.
He was then booked into Yuba County Jail where he was charged with being under the influence of methamphetamine and residential burglary - he was held on $52,500 (£40,000) bail.

The report concluded: "After further investigation it was determined that Weiss starred in several movies and television series. Officers contacted Weiss at the Yuba County Jail and confirmed he starred in these movies."
The actor made his name starring in all three Mighty Duck movies as well as a string of TV shows including Freaks and Geeks and Boy Meets World.
However, in the following years, he has struggled to cope, and this has had several run-ins with the authorities.
Back in 2017, he was jailed for 150 days for stealing electronics worth $151 (£116).

Speaking at the time, Shaun's manager, Don Gibble, told Page Six: "Hopefully when [Shaun] gets out he will go to rehab so he can stay sober.
"He hopes jail will help him, and maybe while he is in jail, he will write something."
He was also arrested once again in August 2018.
