50 Cent Has Upped The Stakes In His Feud With Conor McGregor

He brought family into it. We've not heard the last of this

50 Cent has upped the stakes in his war of words with Conor McGregor by bringing his wife and kids into the fray.

The hip hop artist and the double weight UFC champion have been beefing for a good while now, and if the latest shots that have been fired are anything to go by it might not be the last we hear of it either.

Now, neither of the two is shy of a bit of confrontation. Conor literally gets paid to beat the crap out of people and 50 Cent, as well as having had many well publicised rap feuds was also once shot in the head a bunch of times.

However - just like everything else these days - this beef has taken place on social media.

The squabbling goes back to way before the super fight between mixed martial artist 'The Notorious' McGregor and undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather - who happens to be a pal of Fiddy's.

McGregor used a press conference in the build up to the bout to say: "50 Cent's a bitch. You and 50 are two fake money bitches. He's bankrupt and you're about to be."

Needless to say - this won't do. 50 Cent hit back afterwards: "what the f**k wrong wit this white boy, you fighting Floyd not me fool. LOL."

He also bizarrely claimed to have helped to make the deal for the fight happen, which is odd.

He said: "I actually ran into Dana [White, the UFC boss] when they were putting the fight together, and I told 'em go after it. I spoke to Floyd and he felt better about it,"

Anyway, things seemed to go pretty quiet after the fight, which McGregor lost, although he managed not to like someone who had never boxed professionally before.

But, he does like to have the last word. This Monday he wrote a post on Instagram attacking 50 Cent and ranting about the Forbes Rich List, in which he predicts he will overtake Cristiano Ronaldo.

He said: "I am also really interested to see this year's Forbes highest paid athletes list.

"I have now surpassed @cristiano Ronaldo as I told him I would in 2016."

The Irishman then continued: "Someone tag 50cent in this for me. He blocked me on this the mad 50 year old instagram blocker.

"Ahh don't block me 50 kid, I still like some of your songs. The older ones hahah"

Which didn't sit well with 50 at all, and he responded with a video that has since been deleted in which he referenced Conor's partner and child:

He said: "They love 'em some McGregor. They get their haircut like McGregor. All that shit. Soon as they get that first big check they gone leave their motherfucking wife and kids like McGregor and shit."

Bringing someone's family into it? We've not heard the last of this. Watch this space.
