Conor McGregor is to marry long-term fiancee Dee Devlin at The Vatican.
According to a report from the Irish Independent, the retired MMA fighter and his partner are set to tie the knot in the historic Chiesa di Santo Stefano Degli Abissini, which is close to the famous Basilica of St Peter, later today (12 December).
It's understood that insiders from the religious city-state confirmed the news, saying the church had been booked for the wedding.
The latest news contradicts previous statements from Vatican officials, with Vatican spokesman Matteo Bruni previously telling the outlet that he was not aware of any wedding taking place involving McGregor and Devlin.

McGregor and Devlin first met back in 2008 at a nightclub in Dublin and have remained together ever since, going on to welcome four children together.

The couple later became engaged in 2020.
Devlin has remained by McGregor's side throughout numerous legal troubles, most recently a legal troubles which saw the 37-year-old fighter lose a civil rape case.
The trial, which concluded in November 2024, saw McGregor found civilly liable for sexual assault against Nikita Hand, who was awarded €248,603 (£207,000) in damages.
McGregor's legal issues have also been a cause for concern amongst senior Vatican officials, with the Irish Independent adding that several figures have expressed reservations about the appropriateness of allowing McGregor to marry in the holy state.
