We’re about halfway through the Olympics now and what a week it’s been.

From disqualifications and medalists with ‘no equipment’ to ‘never seen before’ incidents and Simone Biles simply being the GOAT - there’s been all sorts of things to watch.

Well, not just watch but also look, as one athlete left viewers not quite knowing where to look. And after going viral because of it at the Olympics, the Frenchman has been offered a lifetime supply of the item.

Jules Bouyer left viewers in a bit of a frenzy when a photo of him taken at the side of the pool did the rounds.

The 22-year-old diver finished in fifth place yesterday (2 August) in the Men’s Synchronised 3m Springboard with Alexis Jandard. While he’s still set to compete in the individual 3m Springboard event next week, it seems he’s already bagged himself a prize.

Earlier this week, a photo was shared of him where the combination of the camera angle and his teeny-tiny speedos left people a little lost for words.

Journalist David Mack shared the snap and wrote on X: "One academic topic in which I am extremely interested now is French diver Jules Bouyer. I find this subject very intellectually rewarding & intriguing.

"This subject is something I think many others would also enjoy studying."

And users said the Speedos were working ‘overtime’ as one joked: “That suit is BARELY containing his massive Olympic medal.”

So, underwear company Shinesty has offered to keep the athlete well-stocked.

Famous for its ‘Ball Hammock Pouch Underwear’, the company makes items designed to provide extra support for men’s genitals.

According to TMZ, the company wants to give Bouyer a lifetime supply.

“When we saw what Olympic diver Jules Bouyer was packing in his South of France, it didn’t matter that we were an American company,” a rep reportedly said.

“We wanted to give it a gold medal and protect that front truck of his for many Olympics to come.”

Apparently, the undies company wants to develop ‘The Family Jules’ swimming bottoms with Bouyer, including a ‘reinforced crotch’.

It’s said Shinesty has reached out to the Frenchman’s family and Olympic authorities to get a deal going with him.

Users said the now famous photo of Bouyer by the pool is the ‘only reason’ they love the Olympics as one put: “I just really hope his speedo is getting paid time and a half.”

Well, whatever it takes to get people interested in sports, I guess.

LADbible has contacted Shinesty for further comment.
