We've had our Spotify Wrapped, our YouTube Recap and now Discord has launched its own Checkpoint feature to round up your 2025.
The platform will be sharing data like how many messages you sent, who you hung out with most in voice, your most used emoji and which server you spend the most time in — so basically your digital social life summed up.
More and more platforms are taking data from their users and using it to inform their consumption habits, in a bid to imitate the huge viral moment created by Spotify Wrapped.
Discord's announcement comes hot off the heels of YouTube announcing it would be introducing a similar concept, analysing all the content users consume and placing them in one of 12 personality categories as part of its new Recap feature.

Where can I find my Discord Checkpoint?
When you open Discord for the first time after the Checkpoint goes live, you should see a small pop up in the right hand corner of your window, which says 'Discord Checkpoint'.
All you need to do is tap on that banner to view your recap. However, you can also click on the small flag icon on the top right of your screen and once you're in, you can use the Space button or Arrow button in the bottom right corner of the screen in order to go through your recap.
What does the Checkpoint mean?
Once you've viewed your recap, Discord will match you with one of 10 different Checkpoint cards. Each Checkpoint card comes with its own matching Avatar Decoration, which you can put on and 'find your fellow Capybaras in chat'.

You will then have the option of sharing a summary of your Checkpoint results in chat which is completely optional, if you'd rather keep them to yourself.
"So gather around the bonfire, review your Discord Checkpoint, and bask in your curated summary of what you’ve accomplished on the platform in the last year," they said in a press release.
"Don’t worry, all those nearby obstacles don’t reset after using this Checkpoint."
Along with the announcement, Discord shared some data from the whole platform, revealing that the most used emoji for 2025 was the red love heart. Other top emojis included the sob crying face, the joy laughing crying face, the fire emoji and the green tick box.
