The true identity of the African 'queen' who was living in a Scottish forest as part of a 'tribe' has been revealed for the first time.
Known as 'Queen Nandi', the mum-of-seven's real name is Jean Gasho and she heads up the Kingdom of Kubala alongside her husband 'King Atehene'.
The King's true identity was revealed to be Kofi Offeh, a Ghanian former opera singer who was once a director of several entertainment, retail, property and performing arts firms.
Gasho, 43, claimed in 2021 that her husband 'is now a millionaire in his own right' after allegedly having 10 properties in his name, as she described him as a 'millionaire king'.

But according to reports from the Scottish Sun on Sunday, his businesses tended to fail within years of starting up, despite claims from his wife that he would spoil her with five-figure gifts.
Failed businesses

The likes of Black British Entertainment, Northern Bridge Ltd and Lookgold Ltd are linked to Offeh, 36, in public records, which revealed that they dissolved by compulsory strike off a few years after he started them.
Years on, the couple were found in the Scottish woods, claiming to be leaders of a tribe after they claimed to have gained some income from followers on social media.

They settled in a forest in Jedburgh, intending to reclaim the land they say was stolen from their ancestors in the Highlands 400 years ago.
Arrests made
The tribe, which consisted of the pair and 'handmaiden' Kaura Taylor, 21, were also evicted this morning (2 October) from their previous forest space, with two members arrested.
The BBC reports that Offeh and Taylor were seen in handcuffs, reportedly detained on suspicion of immigration offences.
Queen Nandi, King Atehene and 'Asnat' (Taylor) were given the notice after living in the woods in the Scottish Borders for several weeks, with Taylor's family insisting she had been ‘groomed’ into doing so from the US.

But upon being arrested, revelations of the couple's past in particular have risen to the surface.
Dropped child cruelty charge
The couple were remanded in jail for six months in the past for 'child cruelty' over alleged events between 21 June and 13 July 2024 , but the charges were dropped this year before their first court appearance.
Gasho claimed that her experience in prison was 'cosy and amazing', opening up in a new Facebook video: "Prison was one of the most amazing experiences of my life - I would never change for the world.
"Of course it was painful. I did cry quite a lot in prison but I danced a lot in prison - I would go to the chapel and dance my life away."

She said that 'everything made sense' behind bars, though things were 'also painful' as 'they threw me in jail, they arrested me and the King.'
Gasho even admitted that she was ready to go down for King King Atehehe, but stated: "After six months the doors were unlocked from prison. They had no evidence.
"They can send you to remand without any evidence. It is crazy what is happening in Britain. They had no evidence so had to let us go.
"I met some amazing people. But I suffered so much racism, was called a child killer, and got beaten up. Some prisoners gravitated towards me."
