Diddly Squat Farm visitors reveal how likely it actually is you’ll see Jeremy Clarkson there

Fans of the show were curious as to how high the chances were of running into Clarkson

Fans have long been wondering what the chances are of spotting the motoring journalist in person if you go and visit his farm.

Clarkson's Farm aired for its third season earlier this month, with a fourth being confirmed to be on the way, but by building the fanbase more each year, fans can't help but stop themselves from going down to see the Amazon Prime Video hit in the flesh.

Of course, Jeremy Clarkson is part of that experience, with the Brit himself admitting how likely it will be to run into him, as fans continue to wonder if it's worth the trip if you can't see the main man.

The 1,000 acre farm in the Cotswolds features the famous Diddly Squat Farm Shop, a tiny yet crucial part to the operation that is run by Clarkson's partner Lisa Hogan.

It's accessible to the public, so fans took to Reddit to find out if there is a chance of spotting the 64-year-old in person.

Each time a new season airs, the popularity of the TV show grows exponentially and more people make their way to the famous farm site to see the show's stars.

Fans have been asking the journalist-turned-farmer about potentially meeting him, with one posting on X: "My daughters are 13 and six years old, they want to meet you Jeremy. We live in Kent, three hours from your farm.

"You weren’t there when we went. Please tell us when you will be there so that we can meet you once."

Jeremy then gave an honest reply, which could possibly be looked at as good news.

He wrote: "I'm always here these days. Just not necessarily at the shop."

It does make sense after all, as you might be there to pick up your fix of Hawkstone lager and cider, while Clarkson needs to run all 1,000 acres of his farm.

500 of these acres are arable (meaning good for growing crops), he will spend a fair amount of that time working with fan-favourite Kaleb Cooper.

But fans who have gone up to the farm have shared the likelihood of spotting anything to do with the show, based on their experiences.

One posted on the Reddit thread: "At the end of the day, it’s just a normal farm shop with a very long queue. The chance to see any of the people you may recognise is down to luck and very slim.

"That said, I did see Kaleb driving his tractor!"

Another put: "Been there three or four times now, haven't seen any of them there. Saw the lambo tractor though."

A third said: "We visited 2 years ago and luckily on the day Kaleb was driving the Lambo tractor for everyone, not sure how often they’re there now though in the week."

So the chances aren't great, then.

With popularity comes attention and an increase in visitors, with the farm shop not being a stranger to this concept.

One person raised their concern at the size of the queue to Clarkson himself, posting: "The queues at Diddly Squat are ridiculous! They are worse than those at Chessington or Thorpe Park, and this is just for food and drink!

"I think you need to expand your shop to allow a larger customer flow, although that would require more planning permission."

Responding, Clarkson wrote: "We have plans to solve this. And are working flat out on them."
