The inmate who was filmed having sex with a prison officer at HMP Wandsworth has described their fling as the 'biggest regret of his life'.
Linton Weirich claimed that he was hailed as a 'legend' by fellow lags and even other guards after the footage of him and Linda De Sousa Abreu getting intimate went viral in 2024.
But the dad-of-two has now spoken of his regret about getting involved with her while he was locked up - as it caused his then-pregnant partner 'heartache' while also leading to him 'missing the birth' of their son.
He told The Sun that De Sousa Abreu allegedly began bringing fast food hauls in for him after they struck up a friendship shortly after he claims to have paid £1,500 for a smuggled phone from another guard.

The personal trainer said he added the 32-year-old on Snapchat before they started exchanging 'flirty' messages.
"Any attention when you are in that situation is welcome and that’s what Linda gave me," Weirich alleged. "She used to bring in Nando’s and Chinese meals for inmates.
"We’d pay £150 for what was worth £30 or £40. I’d get money from bank transfers or cash which people would bring in.
"It was obvious [De Sousa Abreu] liked me but I think she also wanted someone to look out for her on the landing. She asked me to sort out an inmate who spat on her, so I did."
De Sousa Abreu has denied the claims that she smuggled takeaways in for inmates in the South West London jail and that she asked Weirich to attack another inmate.
'It caused so much damage'
He claims that he had sex with the prison officer at HMP Wandsworth 'a few times', including supposedly in his cell and in an office, before the romp which was infamously filmed.
Weirich - who was serving four years and nine months for burglary - has insisted he did not want to record the encounter, nor for it to go viral.
He said: "I didn’t want it to be filmed. You can see I was saying, ‘Stop’ and putting my hand up. I had a pregnant partner and didn’t want it getting out. Linda knew it was being filmed, but didn’t seem to care about it or her job.

"It happened at 11am and by 5pm I was getting messages and DMs. People were saying, ‘That’s you’ and ‘What have you done?’ I felt awful as I had a partner and a baby on the way. She was really angry. She was saying it was over."
His partner Emilia Juckes, 32, was expecting their son at the time, who was later born in September 2024. Weirich said he is 'really lucky' that she forgave him.
"People called me a legend, but the effect it’s had is terrible," he continued. "It caused so much damage to my partner, my family and myself. It’s the biggest regret of my life and it damaged everything."
Weirich 'missed the birth' of his son
Shortly after his son's birth, Weirich said he was holding the tot in a visiting room when he was attacked by another inmate - and he was later deemed 'high-risk', scuppering his chances of early release.
"It’s 100 percent linked to the Wandsworth video," the former lag said. "Either someone asked him to do it or it was because I was in the limelight.
“It was part of the ripple effect of what happened. I had to have a metal plate put in and my jaw was wired shut. Luckily my son was OK. I did extra time because of the video and missed the birth. It adds to the regrets."

De Sousa Abreu was jailed for five months after the clip of her romp at the Category B men's prison in South West London was leaked online.
She pleaded guilty to misconduct in a public office and was originally sentenced to 15 months behind bars, but she ultimately served a third of that. Weirich, meanwhile, said he was put in segregation for three days.
De Sousa Abreu denied the allegations made about her by Weirich and described HMP Wandsworth as 'hard to manage' and 'very understaffed'.
"Everyone’s doing something," she told The Sun. "I regret everything I did. I’m incredibly embarrassed."
A Ministry of Justice spokesman said: "The overwhelming majority of our prison staff are dedicated, hardworking professionals.
"We’re cracking down on those who aren’t through tougher vetting, a strengthened Counter-Corruption Unit and over £40million in physical security to clamp down on the contraband that fuels violence in jails."
