A teacher who was struck off after students discovered her OnlyFans account has defended her work during an interview on Good Morning Britain.
Schoolteacher Kirsty Buchan had been working as a teacher in Scotland for a decade when she was forced to leave the profession in 2022 after the school where she worked discovered that she had an account on the platform, which some users join to create adult content.
The 34-year-old, who used the pseudonym 'Jessica Jackrabbit' for her account whose bio read 'good teacher gone bad', was subsequently struck off the teaching register in Scotland.

Three years on, Buchan appeared on GMB to discuss her work on the adult content site with presenters Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley – with the mother-of-one leaving Reid speechless with one of her admissions.

Responding to one question from Reid, who was curious to know whether Buchan was concerned about students finding her account, the content creator revealed that she didn't think she'd get caught, as many people often pretend to be teachers on OnlyFans.
"I didn't think I was going to get caught. The saying 'good teacher gone bad', a lot of people pretend to be teachers on the site," she explained. "I didn't think I would be caught. I didn't think I would be famous."
Buchan went on to admit that she did accept responsibility for her decision to become an OnlyFans creator while working as a teacher, telling the pair: "We all need to take responsibility, of course I knew the risks involved.

"I'm a mum at the end of the day, my son comes first, paying my bills comes first."
Addressing the concerns of parents and viewers who believe having a teacher working as an adult content creator wasn't appropriate, she added: "Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. At the same time, I've not shied away from it. I've taken responsibility.
Revealing that her former colleagues had been 'supportive', she continued: "What I've taught is, your pictures can go out there. I'm not saying do this, I worked really hard to be a teacher. I went to university, two jobs while being a single mother... I had to do this for extra money."
Before joining OnlyFans, Buchan explained that she was struggling to cover a series of expenses as a single mother on her teaching salary while also dealing with her mother and son being unwell.

Reid and Madeley then asked her about how much money she'd been able to earn on the platform, with the ex-teacher revealing she'd made close to a whopping '£60k' in one month.
