The woman who was part of the scandalous duo caught by Coldplay’s kiss cam last July has spoken out about a text she received that flips the narrative on its head one year on.
Kristin Cabot, who is better known as the HR executive who was filmed canoodling with her married boss, appeared in an interview with Oprah Winfrey to give some never-heard-before context to the moment.
The 'Coldplay couple' is what Andy Byron and Cabot are now known as after the clip of them locked in an embrace at the Gillette Stadium, Foxborough concert went uber-viral online.
The reason they went viral is because once they appeared on-screen, the pair attempted to get off camera as fast as possible.

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin even joked at the time: "Oh, look at these two. Either they are having an affair or they’re just really shy."

He then said: "“Holy s**t! I hope we didn’t do something bad.”
The moment ended up costing the pair their jobs at startup Astronomer, who released a statement after their identities were named.
The internet quickly uncovered that Cabot was married to Andrew Cabot, the CEO of a rum distillery, and Byron was also wedded to wife Megan.
However, it was later revealed that the Cabot’s were estranged, and now, it turns out they were both at the concert that day.
"I was walking into the concert and my daughter messaged me and said, 'Oh it’s so great that you and Andrew are both at Coldplay,'" Cabot told Oprah Winfrey in a clip promoting The Oprah Podcast.
"So she let me know that my estranged husband was also at the concert," Cabot went on to say. "In my mind I thought, 'Is this going to be weird if he sees me with Andy?' Like that crossed my mind."
The ex-HR exec explained her thoughts on the matter: "I'm in Gillette Stadium, there's 55,000 people here, I'm probably not going to run into him."
But after what transpired, she lamented: "That would have been better at the end of the day if I'd just run into him.”
She said Cabot ‘knows how closely Andy and I worked together, he knows we socialised - like got lunches and got drinks. It was fine.’
She went on to sat he understands ‘the nature of my work and the way, the relationships - I’ve shared desks with the CEOs I’ve worked with,’ and the ‘very close relationship. And so it didn’t matter.’
In a previous interview, the went on to talk about the fallout from the viral moment – sharing how her kids are edgy about being seen in public with her.
However, the mum claims she was not in a sexual relationship with her boss, with the pair allegedly only kissing for the first time that night, saying: “I made a bad decision and had a couple of High Noons and danced and acted inappropriately with my boss. And it’s not nothing. And I took accountability and I gave up my career for that. That’s the price I chose to pay.
“I want my kids to know that you can make mistakes, and you can really screw up. But you don’t have to be threatened to be killed for them.”
