A former director of communications at the White House has said that Donald Trump, 80, is using fewer words as he gets older.
Anthony Scaramucci had a brief stint as the White House communications chief during Trump's first presidency, lasting in the post just 11 days.
He was sacked from the role by new White House Chief of Staff John F. Kelly, with the official explanation being that Kelly had wanted a clean slate to make appointments.
However, behind the scenes, it was clear Scaramucci was caught up in infighting with other Trump staffers, launching profanity-laden attacks on then-Chief Strategist Steve Bannon and then-Chief of Staff Reince Priebus in calls with reporters.

Now, Scaramucci has spoken to LADbible Stories about questions surrounding Trump's health.
It's a topic that comes up frequently in media reporting, including speculation about marks on Trump's hand, which have often been spotted when he's out and about, as well as the president appearing to fall asleep in public.

What did Scaramucci say about Trump's health?
"He has slowed up a little and he's probably using less words," Scaramucci admitted in the interview, admitting that this was typical for someone of the president's age.
"Remember, by the time you get to 80 years old, your brain has probably shrunk 20% relative to what it was at age 40," he said.
"So he's a little bit off key, but he was nuts at 40. He's as nutty, if not nuttier, at 80. So he's just older."
Scaramucci also said that he does not believe rumours circulating about Trump's neurological health either.
"He doesn't have dementia, all that nonsense on social media," he said. "I'm not buying any of that stuff."
Despite saying that Trump has 'slowed up', Scaramucci downplayed rumours about Trump's health, saying: "I think that's completely exaggerated. He's fine.
"He can move around. He's going from UFC fights to England, to he's going from a midterm Republican convention in Texas to Ireland. He's moving around."
He added: "And he's going to live a long time."

What has Trump's doctor said about his health?
It comes after some of the details of Trump's procedural medical checkup were shared back in May, after Trump bragged that his checkup had gone 'PERFECTLY'.
Trump's cardiac age was revealed in the tests as being 14 years lower than his actual age, which was 79 at the time.
Dr Sean Barbabella also said that Trump had scored 30 out of 30 when he took a test for cognitive impairment.
Other health details that were shared were a reduction in Trump's cholesterol, which reportedly fell from 223 in 2018 down to 143 now, with the president taking ezetimibe and rosuvastatin for his cholesterol.
"His demanding daily schedule, including multiple high-level meetings, public engagements, and regular physical activity, continues to support his overall wellbeing," said the doctor.
Nonetheless, concerns about Trump's health continue to circulate, including drawing attention to marks which keep appearing on his hands.
Trump's doctor has claimed that the marks are the result of 'minor soft tissue irritation related to frequent handshaking'.
The doctor added that the marks are also 'a common and benign effect of aspirin therapy'.
