Conspiracy theorists reckon that Donald Trump is a time traveller - yep.
The US president has been both criticised and praised during the latter years of his existence, but who would have had him as a Marty McFly?
While his second term of presidency might one day be responsible for kickstarting WW3, it seems folks online are very much interested in figuring out why 'TRUMP' is written across some 100-year-old drawings.
And so people have rediscovered a collection of interesting paintings by Prussian-born artist Charles Dellschau.

Dellschau, who died in 1923, spent years sketching strange flying machines he called 'aeros', looking like a mix of balloons and early airplanes.
The bizarre theory has also been linked to a number of old novels by Ingersoll Lockwood from the late 1800s.

Lockwood wrote about a young character named 'Baron Trump' who went on many adventures with a wise mentor called Don.
Sort of like real-life Barron, 19, he lives in a grand place called 'Castle Trump' and is guided by Don, while conspiracy theorists suggest that America's first family was foretold decades before the president's birth.
Some conspiracy believers say 'Don' sounds like a reference to Trump because it is apparently used as a nickname for Donald in real life.

Two of his children’s novels - especially important to the theory - are titled Baron Trump's Marvelous Underground Journey and The Last President.
When Trump won the 2016 election, some said the book looked like it predicted the event.
"Either Trump is a time traveller or someone put in 200 years of work to make a guy who wasn't even born yet look like he is one," one person commented.
"If Trump was a time traveller you’d think he’d be able to make unstoppable business deals…," another penned.

"I think there’s a higher possibility of time travellers or quantum jumping than aliens. Only humans would have an interest in visiting in my opinion," someone else thought.
It comes after Logan Paul asked Trump's granddaughter, Kai, about the Lockwood book and whether it had anything to do with Barron.
"I don't go down those rabbit holes. I don't want to go down those rabbit holes," the 18-year-old admitted on IMPAULSIVE.
Historians, however, note that 'Trump' was already a real surname in the 1800s.
Also that many fiction books back then featured rich boys or political chaos.
Needless to say, scientists say there is yet no evidence of time travel, and the similarities are mostly exaggerated coincidences - depending on who and what you believe.
