As well as featuring several high-profile figures, the newly released photos of Jeffrey Epstein include a host of strange details.
On Friday (12 December), Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee released more images from the estate of the convicted sex offender.
Representative Robert Garcia, the committee's ranking Democrat, described the hoard of snaps of Epstein and his 'powerful friends' as 'disturbing'.
"It is time to end this White House cover-up and bring justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends," he said. "These disturbing photos raise even more questions about Epstein and his relationships with some of the most powerful men in the world.
Advert
"We will not rest until the American people get the truth. The Department of Justice must release all the files, NOW."
Each of the people in the images has separately denied wrongdoing related to Epstein, and being featured in an image does not provide any proof of a relationship or dealings with the convicted sex offender.
The White House has shared a damning statement in response, claiming that the images were 'cherry-picked with random redactions to try and create a false narrative'.
The photos were released without captions or context, and as a result, people have been making their own deductions after scrutinising them.

Photo frame
In one of the 19 snaps, Epstein can be seen chatting to President Donald Trump's former advisor Steve Bannon across a desk.
Three photo frames face the disgraced financier - and one of them appears to feature a strange image of what seems to be a person lying on their side.
It is partially censored, and again, the Committee hasn't provided any context, so it has sparked a lot of discussion online about what could be going on in the photo.

Epstein's desk
People have also been raising questions about some of the trinkets littered across Epstein's desk in the same snap with Bannon.
There appear to be some small figurines alongside numerous other ornaments, which could have been collected by the 66-year-old who took his own life in 2019, given his affection for collecting art.
A box of tissues, a pair of glasses and an iMac are also seen on his desk.

The glove
One of the most bizarre images released in the Committee's latest drop shows what seems to be a latex glove with ribbed fingers.
It is believed to be an adult toy which would presumably be used for sexual purposes.
Online, it's been dubbed a 'sex glove' by a lot of social media users.

Sex toys
The glove seemingly isn't the only sex toy pictured, as several other similar items were also seen in the images.
Some remained in their packages while others had been unboxed - and according to their labels, Epstein had a 'P***y Pump' and 'Extreme Restraints'.
There were also some bondage ropes and what appeared to be a pair of handcuffs.

'Jawbreaker Gag'
Epstein's box of tricks didn't end there, either, as he was also in possession of an adult toy described as a 'Jawbreaker Gag'.
Among the new images is a label explaining the terms and conditions and disclaimer of warranty of the product, and it warns that it should be used with 'extreme care and caution'.
It includes warnings about how it can be a 'choking hazard', can cause a 'person to vomit and suffocate even while standing'.
It adds: "Failure to follow these instructions could result in serious injury or death.. Never leave a person with a Jawbreaker Gag in their mouth unattended."

Bill Gates picture
As well as featuring in a few of the images released by the Committee, tech billionaire Bill Gates is seen in a framed picture which was presumably on Epstein's wall.
People think that it shows the Microsoft co-founder on his private jet.
Questions have been raised about why Epstein would have such a seemingly mundane image framed on his wall.

Book
Bannon features in another of the images, which shows him and Epstein taking a selfie in front of a mirror.
In the background, we can see a table with five books stacked on it, and eagle-eyed social media users reckon they are the work of journalist Michael Wolff.
Wolff's book Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House was published in 2018 and is described as offering an in-depth look into Trump's presidential campaign.

Trump-themed condoms
Another unusual image shows a stash of Trump-themed mockup condoms, which feature a cartoon depiction of the President and the words 'I'M HUUUUGE'.
They sit next to a sign listing their price as $4.95, and according to the Mirror, they were manufactured by the novelty firm Fishs Eddy, based in New York.
No further context about the image was shared by the Committee.
