Joe Rogan was warned to expect a stern text message from Vice President JD Vance after he described MAGA supporters as 'a bunch of f***ing dorks'.

The UFC commentator was previously a vocal supporter of Donald Trump, but he's changed his tune in recent months.

And while speaking to comedian and political commentator Dave Smith on his podcast earlier this week, he made it clear that he doesn't see himself as part of the MAGA movement.

In the episode of The Joe Rogan Experience that was released on Thursday (26 March), Rogan shared some candid thoughts on the president's loyal supporters.

While discussing the US waging war on Iran - which he described as a 'clusterf**k' - the 58-year-old told Smith he sees MAGA as a 'movement of a bunch of f***ing dorks'.

"That phrase sucks...'Make America Great Again', and then it becomes a movement of a bunch of f**king dorks, because a lot of them are dorks," Rogan said.

"A lot of them are these really weird, f**king uninteresting, unintelligent people that have got something they cling to, and there's a lot of people that are just real genuine patriots, and they're all lumped into this one group, and you got to accept the dorks, too? F** that."

Despite throwing his weight behind Trump in the 2024 election, Rogan has recently been critical of the commander-in-chief - slamming the saga surrounding the Epstein files and condemning the conflict with Iran.

In a previous episode of his podcast, he said that the war is 'exactly the opposite of what we were told leading into this administration', referencing Trump's campaign promise to put an end to 'unnecessary foreign wars'.

Now, JD Vance has hit back at Rogan's comments about MAGA supporters.

During an appearance on The Benny Show on Saturday (28 March), the vice president was asked 'what he thinks' of Rogan's remarks and if he 'considered himself to be a dork'.

In response, Vance said: "I think we have many, many fewer dorks than the far left, but everybody's got some dorks. We love our dorks. We love our cool kids. We love anybody who wants to save the country."

Host Benny Johnson also asked the 41-year-old to share his thoughts on Rogan 'roasting the Trump administration' by claiming that 'Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are better at deporting people than you'.

"I did not see Joe say this," Vance said. "I'm going to text Joe because that is that is definitely wrong."

He claimed that the Trump administration are 'taking the flood of people that Joe Biden led into our country and getting them out'.

"The numbers from the Obama administration or any other administration, they weren't doing a tenth of what we're doing," Vance went on. "So Joe is wrong on this.

"We've been the best administration in American history at deporting illegal aliens. The problem is we also followed the worst administration at letting them in. So there's a lot of work to do."

To be a fly on the wall of that text thread between Rogan and Vance, eh?
