Three million pages, 180,000 images and 2,000 videos relating to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein were released on Friday (30 January).
This latest batch of files included disturbing photos of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor appearing to kneel over a woman, claims the disgraced financier had a secret son and allegations of Bill Gates catching an ‘STI’.
It is not an indication of wrongdoing for people to be named or pictured in files relating to Epstein’s case, and many have denied so.
But while people continue to rifle through the large number of documents, online conspiracy theories are rife. And that includes the ‘cruel’ claims that JonBenet Ramsey is pictured in the Epstein files – something her dad, John, has slammed as false.

The six-year-old was found dead in her Colorado home in 1996, fuelling an unsolved murder case that has long gripped true-crime enthusiasts.

Internet sleuths have started to speculate that the young girl was linked to Epstein following the release of images over the last month.
One picture from his case shows what appears to be a young girl sitting on his shoulder with their hands on his head as he smiles. The Department of Justice says the image is from Epstein’s pad in New York City.
In this release from the files, all of the women's and girls’ faces have been redacted, so they cannot be identified.
But despite this, some have falsely claimed that the child in the picture is JonBenet.
There has also been a video going viral of a girl who looks similar to the child beauty queen, with it suggested Epstein’s former accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, was at her sixth birthday party.
However, John says this was AI-generated and that there is ‘no truth’ to the claims.
“I haven’t seen this, but with AI anything is possible,” he told TMZ.

“I figured one of these days I would be accused of being an Epstein pal.
“Hasn’t happened yet. Internet people can be very cruel.”
JonBenet’s death has been covered in a range of documentaries over the last three decades, after she died from a blow to the head and strangulation.
Thousands of pieces of evidence have been studied by police, but the case remains open to this day.
Her father, mum, Patsy, and brother, Burke (who was nine at the time), were cleared by prosecutors in 2008 based on DNA evidence. The Ramseys have always maintained their innocence in the girl’s death.
