McDonald's has issued a major update regarding the fan favourite Breakfast item returning to the menu - but there's a catch.
First introduced back in 2019, the beloved breakfast item swiftly became a staple fast-food favourite amongst McDonald's lovers, with fans being left heartbroken after the item was axed in 2020.
What menu item could we be referring to though? The Breakfast Bagel, of course.

Four years on from it's unceremonious departure and there's a huge update on the item as The Sun has confirmed that the fast-food giant will be returning to select stores across the US.
Told you there was a catch.
The breakfast staple will be available at over 1,200 locations in US, including states such as California, New York and Florida.
The breakfast bagel comes in several different variations, with customers able to chose either steak, sausage or bacon to accompany their egg and cheese.
Unfortunately, the item is only set to return in the US stores at the moment, with other restaurants yet to announce an update to their menu.
LADBible has approached McDonald's to see if there are any plans to add the Breakfast Bagel back onto the UK menu, however, it seems that UK fans will have to wait and see if their favourite makes it across the Atlantic Ocean anytime soon.
Fans of the brekky treat have reacted to the news of the return of their beloved bagel. Taking to the Facebook group, 'Where's My McDonald's Bagel?' which boasts over 15k members, one hungry poster wrote: "I drove from Liberty, Mo to Sedalia, Mo (about an hour and half). Worth every mile! I found out after the fact there was somewhere a tad closer but no regrets! Tasted just like I remember."
The update comes just months after McDonald's announced it would be bringing the beloved Breakfast Wrap back to UK restaurants.
McDonald's confirmed the return of wrap in January this year after fans signed multiple petitions to bring the item back across the years.
Retailing for around £4.39 or £5.89 for a meal and drink (location dependant), the wrap is available from 6am until 11am as part of the Breakfast Menu.
The item includes a sausage patty, bacon, potato rosti, cheese and a choice of either ketchup or brown sauce.
There has also been an update to the wrap, with the previously folded eggs being upgraded to two free-range round eggs.
Here's hoping the bagel will soon be joining the wrap!
