Las Vegas has always thrived in bold dreams and big bets – and Casino.org just helped make one of the boldest yet.

Canada’s leading online casino teamed up with two military veterans to set a new Guinness World Record for most casinos visited in 24 hours.

For more than three decades, Casino.org has been helping players search for the best Canadian online casinos to play, through trusted guides from a leading team of experts and their reviews. But now, the brand raised the stakes by adding a world-record triumph to their list of achievements.

On September 25, Joel Strasser and Garrett Smith – best friends who appeared on season 35 of Amazing Race – partnered with Casino.org and set their sights on the previous record of 74.

The original record, established by Kimo Ah Yun and Gary Meyer in 2017, was previously viewed as nearly impossible to beat given the endurance, planning and strict rules involved.

But Strasser and Smith came prepared.

Equipped with a carefully plotted map of Southern Nevada and relying on bicycles to navigate their way through the challenge, the duo pushed through over 129 miles of tarmac until their persistence paid off.

They didn’t just beat the previous record; they shattered it.

Even with the rules and regulations stating a wager must be made on a table or electronic table game, the duo successfully completed visits to 115 casinos across the allotted period.

Speaking after the record was confirmed by adjudicator Michael Empric, Smith said: “First of all, we want to thank the sponsors, this is awesome!

“We had a big team that helped us. Thank you everyone for all your help!”

To which Strasser added: “This record was tough. We knew that when we decided to undertake it, others had tried and failed.

“We looked at it and said we are going to figure out a way to do this. It was so hard. Thank you so much guys.”
