RFK Jr joins forces with Kid Rock in strange motivational fitness collaboration

RFK Jr has released a bizarre workout video alongside Kid Rock to promote 'healthy living'.

The Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has faced his fair share of criticism in recent times for his controversial and often unfounded views, which include being anti-vax, drinking raw milk and claiming that paracetamol causes autism when taken by pregnant women.

He's vowed to make America healthy again, even speaking out about president Donald Trump's 'unhinged' eating habits recently, suggesting that he was 'pumping himself full of poison'.

But now the internet is taking aim at the 72-year-old for his choice of workout clothes, which see him get into an ice bath while wearing jeans, which any Arrested Development fans will know is a particularly Fünke choice of outfit.

He posted the video on his X account with the caption: "I’ve teamed up with @KidRock to deliver two simple messages to the American people: GET ACTIVE + EAT REAL FOOD."

In scenes that Olivia Newton John would have been proud of, the unlikely duo can be seen doing various exercises including push-ups, sit-ups and weight training before taking a well-earned bath, naturally with the workout jeans still on.

The edited video, which is also reminiscent to the one that Charlie and Mac put together when they're advertising 'Fight Milk' in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, features pretty much every stereotype for American manliness, including sharks, eagles and milk.

There's no doubting that RFK Jr is in good shape for his age, despite those younger days spent snorting cocaine of toilet seats, but large parts of the internet are in agreement that the video was rather strange.

One viewer wrote: "However insane you think this video is, I urge you to watch it in its entirety. It’s so much more insane than you could imagine. RFK Jr jumps into a pool with jeans on."

Another quipped: "Idk about you, but Kid Rock doing 3 push-ups in a sauna looking like he smells like wet socks and RFK Jr. getting in a bathtub with Walmart jeans on really makes me wanna be healthier!"

A third pondered: "Are RFK Jr's jeans surgically attached to his body?"

One chimed in: "Kid Rock gives the American people the finger and then RFK gets into a cold bath in jeans. What in the world is going on here?"

Considering you should be washing your jeans as little as possible, it's probably not the best idea to work out in them, especially if your gym routine usually finishes with a dip in the pool.
