Victoria Beckham Accidentally Made X-Rated Joke In Front Of Brooklyn During Speech
| Last updated
Footage has resurfaced of Victoria Beckham making a NSFW joke in front of Brooklyn Beckham as she gave a speech at the Glamour Awards.
The video has resurfaced as details from Brooklyn's marriage to Nicola Peltz emerge.
People in the audience were quick to react to the joke, in which Victoria accidentally makes a joke you probably don't want to hear your mum make.
The footage was from Victoria accepting the woman of the decade award at the Glamour Women of The Year Awards in 2013.
As she accepted the award, Victoria re-adjusted the microphone, saying: "Oh, I have to raise it. That doesn’t happen often," as she moved the poll.
Audience members were quick to laugh at unintentional NSFW remark.
"Oh my god, I didn’t even mean that," Victoria added, trying to dig herself out of the accidental joke.
"I’m so sorry Brooklyn, I’m so sorry. They told me to be funny but that was completely off the cuff!"
As anyone would, Victoria quickly tried to brush the joke under the carpet, adding: "Thank you to Brooklyn, my date tonight and the most handsome man in the room, thank you, Brooklyn, for bringing mummy and avoiding your homework tonight."
At this point, we imagine, Brooklyn was firmly sinking in his seat.
However, its not the first time the Beckhams have made headlines this week, with Brooklyn marrying Nicola in Florida over the weekend.
The ceremony caught the attention of every news outlet imaginable, as celebrities far and wide flocked to the event.
The £3 million dollar wedding was held at Nicola's father's estate in Palm beach.
Reportedly, David Beckham gave an emotional speech on the big day, with an insider telling The Sun: "David’s speech went on for about five minutes and he looked to shed a tear at one point."
“He was talking about when Brooklyn was born and how he wanted to protect him."
“He said he was sleeping on the hospital floor, holding the door shut because he didn’t want to let anyone get in."
“David got a lump in his throat and had to stop and take a breather to regain his composure, but it was a very sweet speech.”
David also mentioned how excited he was for Brooklyn's bride to join the family and in a tribute to her on Friday 8 April said: "We love you so much. We are excited that you’ll be part of the family."
