A 22-year-old man has left social media users shocked after he shared some photographs of himself alongside his age-defying mother.
Jonathan Nguyen, who lives in Los Angeles, shared the photos of himself and his mum and was left disgusted when a whole load of people got the idea that she was his girlfriend.
To be fair, she doesn't look like she could be his mother.
Jonathan has since explained that his mum's healthy, balanced diet, as well as frequent exercise make up the secret to her youthful looks.
Damn, it's never a quick and easy fix is it? Eat well and exercise? Get lost.
Jonathan wrote: "Having a young Asian mom is great until you see someone your age shooting their shot at her."
Jeez. Well, at least he seems to have taken it in good humour, eh?
All of his social media followers were left aghast after he shared the photographs to his personal Facebook page.
Most thought that she was his sister or girlfriend, but definitely not his mum.
One said: "Woah. She's beautiful. Thought she was your girlfriend. I said to myself 'what a beautiful couple.'"
Another wrote: "Your mom looks like your sister, what's her secret?"
Well, we've already shared her secret. Unfortunately it isn't an easy one, you've got to have loads of horrific things like self-control and discipline by the sounds of it.
That's no fun.
Since he posted the shots online, Jonathan's post has been liked more than 14,000 times and has received almost 8,000 comments.
They are pretty strong numbers in anyone's book, but probably less satisfying if they are filled up with people queuing up to ask for a date with your mother.
Nobody needs that.
Eventually, Jonathan agreed to reveal the specifics of this miracle diet and exercise regime that his mother employs.
He added that eating 'lots of fruit and working out every day' as well as keeping to a low carbohydrate, high fat diet. That's Keto if you're into that sort of thing.
Despite all of the interest, Jonathan remains a complete gentleman and refuses to give anyone his mother's exact age.
She's taught him well, it would seem.
However, he did eventually reveal to the Daily Mail that his mam is "in her 40s".
Damn, most of us can only dream of looking so young when we reach that age. Knock the smoking, drinking, and eating crap on the head now if you want to stand a chance.
He added: "To cut to the chase my mom is in her 40s,
"She also has a skincare routine that I'm not too aware of,"
Does it involved the blood of the innocent? Or perhaps some sort of elixir of life?
We'll try anything to reverse the cruel effects of time.
