A woman went on a Tinder date with a widower, only to discover his 'dead wife' was actually alive and well. Awkward. Watch her tell the bizarre tale in the clip below:
TikTok user Sissy Hankshaw - who posts as @sissyhankshaw - told her followers she had matched with a 'normal' elementary school teacher who had a young son, adding that he later told her his wife had tragically passed away.

She explained: "I went on a Tinder date with this guy who was a teacher. He was 25, he taught school kids and I'm like, 'Oh, that's so sweet.'
"He had a son - he said that his son's mother had passed away tragically. She was dead, he was a single dad - how horrible.
"The other teachers would watch his kid when he would go on dates. I was like, 'Oh, that's so sweet - how nice of them.'
"He liked running, he seemed like a normal person."

But then like many of us, Sissy decided to do a bit of digging to check out her potential new fella -a and she then discovered his late wife was very much still alive.
Not only that, but the pair were still in a relationship.
Sissy added: "I, of course, had an Instagram stalk to see how this tragic story unfolded because I love things like that.

"I went to stalk her on Instagram, and I went back to show my friend and looked back on a different day, and when I did she had new posts and so I stalked even further.
"I found her whole family and career history on the internet. Turns out she was not dead at all. She was very much alive, and they were very much together in a relationship.
"And he was so normal - he was the most normal person I've been on a date with in a long time.
"I confronted him about it and told him that he lied and that she was actually alive and I was like, 'What the f*** dude?'

"He told me that I was lying and that she was actually dead.
"She's alive."
As you can imagine, people were pretty shocked by the strange tale, with one TikTok user saying the whole thing gave her 'serial killer vibes', while another person said: "I don't think this man should be an influence on the mind of young children and I think his employers would be very interested in this."

Never mind his employers, mate. I reckon the dude's poor wife would also be fairly interested.
