A British man appears to have miraculously survived the tragic Air India plane crash which occurred earlier today (12 June).
Police had previously said 'it appears there are no survivors in the plane crash', but India Today reports that investigators into the disaster had found one man who had been sitting in seat 11A alive.
Ahmedabad Police Commissioner GS Malik said: "The police found one survivor in seat 11A. One survivor has been found in the hospital and is under treatment.
"Cannot say anything about the number of deaths yet. The death toll may increase as the flight crashed in a residential area."
The passenger in that seat was named Vishwash Kumar Ramesh and footage showed a man walking away from the site of the crash.
