Rare interview footage of Epstein answering 'sexual predator' question resurfaces in file release

Following the release of millions of files relating to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, a shocking video has emerged.

More than three million documents were released by the US Department of Justice on Friday. Some of the files featured photos and footage of Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, but a video of Jeffrey Epstein himself being interviewed has been rediscovered.

Sky News shared the footage of Epstein being filmed for a sit-down interview, where he faces some tough questions. The interviewer does not appear on camera, but according to Sky, it is believed to be Steve Bannon. Bannon is known for serving in the White House for part of Trump's first presidential term as his chief strategist.

It is not known when or where the footage was filmed, or why.

During the interview, Epstein appears wearing a black shirt and is wearing glasses, when he is asked if his money is 'dirty money'.

He insists: "no, it's not," and when he is pressed on why it isn't, Epstein is adamant 'because I earned it'.

The interviewer says his huge wealth was earned by dark deeds, including 'advising the worst people in the world that do enormous bad things'. Epstein tries to shrug off the subject, saying that 'ethics is always a complicated subject' and insists he did good with his money. As one example, he said he donated sums of money to treat victims of polio in Pakistan and India.

He is then asked if the recipients if his donations knew he was the source of the money.

Epstein insists that doesn't matter to people in need: "I think if you told them the devil himself said 'I'm going to exchange some dollars for your child's life'...." as the interviewer interrupts: "Do you think you're the devil himself?"

"No, but I do have a good mirror," jokes Epstein, as the interviewer pushes back: "It's a serious question. Do you think you're the devil himself?"

"I don't know. Why would you say that?" says the sex offender.

"Because you have all the attributes," insists the interviewer off camera.

Epstein finally answers: "No, the devil scares me".

He is asked: "What are you, [a] class 3 sexual predator?"

"Tier 1. I'm the lowest," Epstein confesses.

Epstein was eventually found dead in a prison cell in August 2019, at the age of 66, after he was arrested on sex trafficking charges.

The three million documents are still being sifted through, with more names appearing and people searching for confirmation of who visited the notorious 'Epstein Island'.
