Woman who holds Guinness World Record for largest mouth gape has now broken a second one

As if breaking one Guinness World Record wasn't impressive enough already, a woman holds the record for two mouth-gaping feats - and we mean that quite literally.

Samantha Ramsdell - a songwriter, comedian and podcaster - is best known on social media for stuffing large quantities of food - such as a whole large portion of McDonald's fries - into her mouth to showcase her impressively large gob.

The 33-year-old broke the Guinness World Record for how wide she can open her mouth in 2021, but has since taken to social media to reveal she not only holds the world record for the 'largest mouth gape for a female' but has broken another record too.

Samantha - who's racked up over three million followers on TikTok - notes on the platform: "No, it's not a filter... it's just my face."

And indeed the clips she posts on the platform certainly prove it, alongside the not one, but two Guinness World Records she has.

In a video uploaded to TikTok on 15 July, Samantha responds to another user to confirm she 'officially' holds two Guinness World Records by showing the certificates in her possession.

"Ayyy what that mouth can do," the caption reads.

Samantha shows off her world record holder certificates to the camera as proof of her achievements.

The first certificate - awarded for her 'mouth gape' - reads: "Guinness World Records Certificate.

"The largest mouth gape (female) is 6.52cm (2.56 in) and was achieved by Samantha Ramsdell (USA) in Norwalk, Connecticut, USA on 15 July, 2021.

"Officially amazing."

The TikToker then reveals what her second one is for - a record she broke a year later.

Samantha's second record break is for the 'widest mouth'.

The certificate reads: "Guinness World Records Certificate.

"The widest mouth (female) is 10.33 centimetres and belongs to Samantha Ramsdell (USA) as verified in Norwalk, Connecticut, USA on 29 November, 2022."

And that's equally as amazing and impressive too.

People have been flocking to the video to congratulate Samantha on the achievement and weigh in on the records.

One TikTok user said: "That's awesome! Good for you."

Another joked: "I’ve been in dentistry for 21 years and you would be my fav patient to work on lol."

While a third commented: "That's actually pretty cool. Congratulations! You go girl!"

And a fourth added: "I literally always thought you were using a filter for your mouth lol."
