Pow, right in the kisser.

Never meet your heroes. I once met Bez in a club in Manchester and he looked like he was off his head. From what I'd heard about him, I always expected he would be a figure of tranquil sobriety. Now I'll never look at him the same way again.

The same can be said for Ryan Gosling, who opened up about a fight he had with veteran actor Harrison Ford in a recent interview.

Whilst working with Ford on Blade Runner 2049, he confirmed he had been punched on set. However, Gosling played down the incident, joking 'you shouldn't meet your heroes'.

Speaking to GQ, Gosling said: "Yeah, he did [punch me in the face]. It was kind of, you know, a rite of passage. We were just doing a fight scene and, you know, it just happened.

"But what was funny was, when it was over, they brought ice for my face, and Harrison pushed me out of the way and stuck his fist in the ice. I asked him the other day where he got his sense of humour from - was it from his mother or his father? He said, 'Sears' (shop). And he didn't have much time to shop around so he just had to grab one and get out."

Ford's banter around the incident continued, with Gosling adding: "He came by afterward with this bottle of scotch, and I thought, 'Oh, I knew this was coming'. And he pulled out a glass from his pocket, poured me a glass, and walked away with the rest of the bottle.

"So I guess he felt like he didn't connect enough to earn a whole bottle."

The movie is the follow-up to Ridley Scott's 1982 movie, Blade Runner and will be directed by Denis Villeneuve. Ridley Scott will serve as executive producer and Ford is returning as agent Rick Deckard.

There's no release date for the movie yet, but it's expected sometime in the new year.

Personally, I can't wait.
