This Woman Lets People Drink Her Blood And It's All Very Weird

Quite frightening, slightly inspirational.

JUST A QUICK WORD OF WARNING: THERE'S SOME WEIRD IMAGES INCLUDED.

Usually I'm all for agreeing with the idea that what people do in the bedroom or their own house is their own business.

But this is fucking weird.

Very fucking weird. And they've told the world their story, so it's all fair game.

Blut Katzchen is a 28-year-old woman from Louisiana who has an interesting lifestyle. She lets people drink her blood. A modern-day Mina Harker.

Katzchen. The one image that isn't pretty disturbing.

She has travelled all over the world for over a decade to fulfil the needs, perversions and desires of people who vant to suck her blood (sorry), as well as satisfying her own kicks.

She allows herself to be cut with razors so that men and women who are into that kind of thing can suck her blood until their lust for the red stuff has been quenched.

And, among many of her blood suckers, she has a very special admirer. 44-year-old Michael Vachmiel, also a Texan, firmly appears to believe that Katzchen's blood gives him vital life energies to keep him alive. Sure, mate.

The self-proclaimed 'Vampire King', known as 'Raven' in the vampire community, meets up a few times a year with Katzchen and I don't have to explain to you what they get up to.

This kind of stuff.

Vachmiel and Katzchen use razors and suction cups to let the blood, and she explains how it works:

"You have to have a very strong connection to the person who is feeding off you. I have specific tools that draw the blood and Michael will drink it from my body.

"The cuts are about an inch long - it doesn't take a very deep cut to draw the blood."

Vachmiel is a pretty 'interesting' individual: "I started drinking blood by accident - it was during an intense sexual act where blood was drawn and touched my lips. At that point it was an awakening.

"Just like a person has a favourite culinary dish, vampires have a favourite spiritual culinary dish.

"There are many ways to get energy. This is a more intimate way and it's a ritual for vampires.

"In doing such, we get the energy we need and the donor has their need to submit, so its completely consensual."

But isn't this pretty damn dangerous?

According to Katzchen, the risks are minimal: "We'll sterilise the area with alcohol and he uses mouthwash before drinking, so its very clean.

"There are some risks involved, but we do everything we can to keep it as clean as possible.

"I've been doing this for almost 13 years and I have never had an STD or blood borne illness scare."

And what about if you drink too much of it? Apparently you just get sick and have to slow down.

To be honest, all this raises far more questions than answers for me.

You know what, as long as it's safe and consensual, whatever.
