With Twixmas in full swing, you might be having a few days of ‘mindfulness’ and clearing your head ahead of the New Year or perhaps setting your resolutions for what 2026 may hold.
But just pause that for a moment, as Baba Vanga may install you with the equivalent of the Sunday Scaries before this long weekend of Christmas break comes to an end.
That’s because she had a horrifying World War Three warning that might already be coming true. Well, if you’re more of a cup-half-empty kind of person, you might choose to believe her anyway.
Real name Vangelia Pandeva Gushterova, she did die back in 1996, but many still follow and believe the Bulgarian mystic’s claims, as many of them have well outlived her.

The blind healer claimed to have foreseen the future, and some reckon she forecasted the likes of the 2022 floods in the UK, the 9/11 attacks and a number of other events.
And she had a number of predictions for 2026, such as continued natural disasters, some kind of contact from an unknown civilisation in space and shock, a continuation of financial problems.
A rather worrying claim she had as well through is that this upcoming year would be a year for international political disputes.
It didn’t seem as though Baba Vanga was referring to quite as much as nuclear warfare but she apparently did have a bit of a lean towards there potentially being a ‘World War Three’. Great.
Unfortunately, the events of the recent days following on the building of tension there’s been for quite some time now doesn’t exactly help anyone feel better about her prediction.
In the early hours of this morning (26 December), Vladimir Putin’s forces launched an attack on Kyiv – following an attack yesterday.
NATO jets were scrambled as Russia launched its attack, as the country rejected offers for a ‘Christmas truce’ with Ukraine over the festive period. Intensifying the fears of a WW3, Russia said they didn’t want to give them ‘breathing space’.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is set to meet with Donald Trump tomorrow in a further effort to end the nearly four-year-old war.
The Ukrainian leader ‘would like the Europeans to be involved’ in the talks but doubted if this would be possible at short notice.
“We must, without doubt, find some format in the near future in which not only Ukraine and the US are present, but Europe is represented as well,” he said.
And while it’s not a full out world war right now, the attacks and tensions may feel daunting along with Baba Vanga’s claim.
