Despite them both being dead and buried, Nostradamus and Baba Vanga are still giving us a heads up about what they believe is in store.
The pair of alleged prophets have made a few of the same eerie predictions for 2026 - and we might want to listen up, given the accuracy of their assumptions about the last 12 months.
The supposed soothsayers previously shared some bleak forecasts for 2025, and shockingly, a few of them have come true... sort of.
And as there's just three weeks left of the year, there's never been a better time to tally up the amount of predictions which somewhat came to fruition.
Advert
But first, let me remind you of the alleged fortune tellers' credentials.

Nearly 500 years after his death, a number of folks are still living their lives by the warnings issued by French astrologer Michel de Nostredame.
He left behind a lasting legacy thanks to his book, Les Prophéties, which contained a collection of forecasts for the future - and he reportedly predicted major events such as the Great Fire of London, the French Revolution and subsequent rise of Napoleon, Hitler's rise to power and both world wars.
Meanwhile, blind Bulgarian mystic Baba Vanga is alleged to have foreseen incidents that have left a significant impact on the world - such as the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, and the election of Barack Obama.
She boasts a reported track record of 85 percent accuracy and chillingly foresaw her own death six years before she passed away, so again, she's got some clout on the clairvoyant scene.
What did Nostradamus correctly predict would happen in 2025?

Although saying that all of Nostradamus' predictions for the year are 'bang on' would be something of a stretch, he did give us at least a vague idea of what lay ahead.
Here's a full rundown of everything that he hazarded a decent guess at.
A war in England and the return of the plague
In the text published in 1555, Nostradamus suggested 2025 would be a bad year for the UK, as he wrote: "When those from the lands of Europe, see England set up her throne behind. Her flanks, there will be cruel wars.
"The kingdom will be marked by wars so cruel, foes from within and without will arise. A great pestilence from the past returns, no enemy more deadly under the skies."
Thankfully, we've dodged direct involvement in any global conflict so far - although we have assisted Ukraine amid the continued Russian invasion, while seemingly p***ing off Vladimir Putin and Co in the process.
There has been a host of horror events on British soil though throughout the year, which could sort of constitute 'cruel wars', at a push - such as the deadly attack at a Manchester synagogue.
And although a 'great pestilence' didn't wipe us all out, there is a super flu sweeping the country which has been described as a 'hotter, nastier' virus than its counterparts.
Conflict in global politics
The Frenchman reportedly reckoned that 'great powers would clash' in 2025, while warning of 'a decrease in the influence of established Western countries and the emergence of new world powers'.
To be fair to him, it's been one hell of a year in terms of international politics.
We've been on the cusp of 'World War 3' more times than most of us care to remember, while just last week Putin warned that Russia is 'ready' to go up against Europe if needs be.
As well as this, the world has watched the US go down in everyone's estimations under Donald Trump's leadership - while his controversial tariffs have also had a huge impact on the country's economic standing.
China, on the other hand, has continued to lead the way.

Medical advances
Believe it or not, Nostradamus also had some potentially good news hidden among his bleak list of predictions.
He allegedly suggested there would be 'significant improvements in illness prevention and treatment' in 2025, and he wasn't too far wrong.
Between a bloke being 'cured' of type 1 diabetes following a 'first-of-its-kind' procedure, the introduction of a pioneering 'Trojan horse' cancer drug and other advancements, it's been a busy year in the medical field.
There's also the rise of weight loss jabs to consider, as these will hopefully alleviate pressure on the NHS and other health services around the world.
On top of all that, experts have been using artificial intelligence to help them predict what diseases people are likely to get later on in life. Nice one, Nostradamus.
'End of a long war'
It's said that he also predicted the 'end of a long war', which some believe could reference the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022 and sadly, Putin's forces remain on the frontline to this day - despite Nostradamus implying that a truce would take place this year.
He wrote: "Through long war all the army exhausted, so that they do not find money for the soldiers; instead of gold or silver, they will come to coin leather, Gallic brass, and the crescent sign of the Moon."
Some people thought that the references to 'the crescent sign of the Moon' and 'Gallic brass' suggest that France and Turkey could be involved in settling the dispute, due to the design of the countries' flags.
In this case, Nostradamus is sort of half right - as both Ukrainian and Russian soldiers are 'exhausted' after nearly four years of war.
And although both sides haven't agreed to put down their weapons just yet, a number of potential peace deals have been put on the table over the last 12 months.
What did Baba Vanga correctly predict would happen in 2025?

Now, onto Baba Vanga, who kindly had a good old look into the future - right up until the year 5079 - before her death in 1996.
This included a lot of wacky ones for 2025, some of which have come true.
Humans to 'make contact' with alien lifeforms
Vanga reportedly urged us to be ready to roll the red carpet for some extraterrestrials this year, as she reckoned that humans would 'make contact' with alien life, 'possibly leading to a global crisis or apocalypse'.
She suggested that this event - involving a UFO that could resemble a 'new light in the sky' - would take place at the same time as a 'major sporting event'.
The Super Bowl, Wimbledon and Champions League Final have all been and gone though, however, some people suspect Vanga might have been referring to the FIFA World Cup 2026 draw last Friday (5 December).
This somewhat correlates with updates shared by boffins about the mysterious interstellar object, 3I/ATLAS, which may or may not have an 'alien' origin.
Again, it's something of a stretch... but for a stab in the dark, Vanga didn't do bad.
Earthquakes
The mystic and healer allegedly claimed that '2025 would bring shattering earthquakes' - and she was spot on, as there have been several devastating ones this year.
Just days ago, the north-west England was rocked by a quake which people described as feeling like an 'explosion'.
But further afield, the tremors have resulted in huge tragedy - such as the powerful 7.7-magnitude quake which struck Myanmar and Thailand at the end of March.
Thousands of people were killed and injured, while neighbouring nations also shouldered some of the fallout too.
Hopefully, there won't be any more sudden shudders over the final few weeks of the year.
War breaks out in Europe
Just like Nostradamus, Baba Vanga reportedly believed that the continent was destined for conflict in 2025.
Her prediction warned that this would mark the start of 'humanity's downfall', as she wrote: "In the spring, a war in the East will begin and there will be a third World War. A war in the East that will destroy the West."
While allegedly alluding to Putin, Vanga suggested he would become 'lord of the world', which would in turn make Europe a 'wasteland', adding: "Russia will not only survive, it will dominate the world."
Obviously, with the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, where Donald Trump has even tried to act as peacemaker, you can't say she's too far off.
