Two Pals Undergo Makeover To Look Like Twins

The two friends say they are often mistaken for sisters when out and about

Two best pals are so determined to look like identical twins that they've undergone matching makeovers complete with the same outfits, dye jobs and filler injections to make them look more similar.

Julia Bergman and Sofia Hagenlöv, both 20, from Stockholm, Sweden, have been best mates since they met at the age of six and are now hoping to become fitness models.

The pair began working out together when they were just 14 and now they go the gym six days a week, but their parents are less keen on their training regime, having branded the gym 'masculine'.

Not content with training together, the two mates want to look alike and have put in a lot of effort to do so, splashing out on matchy-matchy outfits and having fillers in their lips and cheeks.

And their plan seems to be working, with Julia admitting: "People think we're twins all the time. It has always been our thing since we were 10 years old.

"We called each other in the morning and were like, 'What are you wearing today?' So basically, we are sisters, not by blood but by heart.

"I don't really think our look is accepted in Stockholm. For some people, they think we're too much; too much in our appearance and the way we are."

Sofia added: "Generally, everyone in Sweden wants to look normal, wants to look natural, you can't stand out, you can't have this. We're very outgoing and fun and bubbly. It's not accepted."

Their parents also seem to think it's 'not accepted', with Julia saying they don't like false nails and lashes and that they miss their old blond hair, now dyed black. They also reckon the gym is 'very masculine', but the two friends say they need to 'have their own life'.

Julia and Sofia have praised the gym saying they were 'insecure' and 'uncomfortable' with themselves before they started working out. They now hope to become fitness models and are aiming to move out to LA to study fitness later this year.

As well as working out in matching outfits and dying their hair dark, the two women have also had filler injections and wouldn't rule out surgery in the future.

Sofia said: "I always felt insecure about my lips. We thought maybe the gym is very masculine so we needed to do something about femininity; something that will make us be women."

Most recently Sofia had some filler in her cheeks, while Julia had her jawline defined.

At the moment they've not gone as far as surgery but have said they would consider going under the knife.

"We would get surgery to enhance our looks," said Sofia. "When we train, it's very natural for your boobs to go away."

Julia added: "So a boob job is something I would consider, but never a Brazilian butt lift because that is very dangerous."

The pair share an Instagram account where they post photos and workout videos.

Sadly, not everyone is happy to live and let live, and the pair do get the odd nasty comment.

Julia said: "We get a lot of negative comments. Sofia gets more hate comments than me, mostly about her lips. But also, 'You were so cute before and you looked so natural, what have you done to yourself?' But I think we get a lot of positive comments too."

She's also quick to add that she is happy with the changes she's made to her looks, explaining: "If we didn't do anything to our appearance, I think we would look like basic b*****s. I think we would have been fat, to be honest. We eat a hell of a lot of food."
