Jeremy Clarkson fans desperate to try his beer after bloke gets sent free sample

Jeremy Clarkson fans desperate to try his beer after bloke gets sent free sample

The broadcaster has moved into the beer biz, and his fans are gagging for a drop of Hawkstone Lager

Jeremy Clarkson fans are gasping for a drop of his beer after a farmer shared a taste test on Twitter.

Ioan Humphreys - aka @ThatWelshFarmer - was sent some Hawkstone Lager to sample, and it went down a treat. Watch here:

Squatting by a newborn calf, the Welshman poured himself a glass and was blown away by the beverage.

After a few excited gasps, he said: "That's unreal!

"I tell you what, on my 'oh la laa' scales that's a 9.7."

Clarkson was clearly pleased with the review, replying: "I'm a better beer maker than farmer, that's for damn sure. Glad you liked it mate."

The problem for Clarkson now though is that every Tom, Dick and Harry wants a free sample sending their way.

"If you would like to send a pint my way I would be most grateful," one person commented.

"Wouldn't mind some nice beer myself," another said.

"Can you send some to me too please Jeremy?!!" a third added.

While it's unlikely Clarkson is going to start firing off free beers to Twitter followers across the country, the website for Hawkstone does point people in the right direction.

As well as being available to order for delivery, the site also shows you the nearest pub stocking the booze.

Clarkson himself has done a cracking job of advertising his beer, namely by slagging off George Clooney. You can see an example of that here:

As you're probably aware, Clarkson is now flogging all sorts of produce that he grows on his Diddly Squat farm in the Cotswolds.

But while his beer is proving popular, don't expect him to start growing weed anytime soon.

Speaking to LADbible back in 2021, he explained that he finds smokers boring.

"We are allowed to grow hemp and things, but I won't because it's so right on and trendy," he said.

"If you're at a party and someone brings a spliff out you just think, 'Christ they're just going to be boring for the rest of the evening.' I usually just go home."

It's not just the tedious company that drives him away though - there's also the very real prospect of him pulling a whitey.

"Apart from anything else, if I go into a room and somebody's had a joint I get a white face and pass out," he said.

"Passive dope gives me a serious problem. I just don't hang around with people who partake, put it that way."
