Woman who manages legal brothel explains the main difference to other places people go to for sex
A woman who manages one of Europe's largest legal brothels has revealed what distinguishes her firm from competitors in the industry.
Catherine De Noire is worlds apart from the caricature of a 'pimp' which pops into a lot of people's minds when imagining the face behind this kind of business.
She explained she stumbled into her 'dream job' at the age of 22 shortly after completing her studies in psychology, as she was 'always interested in people and why they behave the way they behave'.
So you can imagine that Catherine is absolutely fascinated throughout the entirety of her shift each day while tending to the fantasies of clients.

The PhD student - who claims to be 'the highest ranking person' in the Netherlands-based company, besides the owners - puts a graft in from 7pm to 6am the following morning.
These hours typically consist of her answering emails, reading reports and interviewing potential sex workers.
But as well as this, Catherine told LADbible that she is also on hand to assist her 'girls' in any way she can.
And she reckons that this is why business has been booming for her company for the last 30 years.
She explained that her place of work really isn't as sleazy as people think - although she admits she was expecting a bloke wearing 'fake fur and gold chains' to run it.
Discussing what was running through her mind on her first day, Catherine said: "I had no idea how it was going to look like.
"I walked in, and there's a reception, customer care service, and then I met the owner, and he showed me around... and it looked like a normal company, you know?
"I was actually surprised how normal it looked like. There was an IT department, there was an HR department, you know, technician department."
Although Catherine's company sounds pretty forward-thinking, she is well aware that it is not the same in other places where people seek out sexual transactions.
"The system that that we have, it's quite different than the other clubs," she explained. "So with us, the business is completely up to the girls.
"So she decides about the prices, she decides about the services, because not every girl does full-service sex work."
The brothel manager explained that the services offered are completely up to the women who provide them.
"So some of them, they specialise in BDSM. We have a girl and she does exclusively just s*******g," she said.
"Then we have girls that provide only lesbian shows."
Catherine said that her employees also get a flexible schedule and are allowed to choose when they work.
Sex workers at the European brothel can also decide what clients they accept, with the manager saying they can 'refuse one at anytime'.
But according to Catherine, the 'most important' thing her brothel does in comparison to other sex clubs is staying out of the transaction.
"We are never part of the deal between the girl and the customer," she went on.
"And it sounds logical - but some of the girls, they are coming from clubs where the manager decides what she will do."
She explained that a lot of other brothel managers put the needs of the customer first and don't give workers the freedom of choice.
"And the girls, they need to speak to the customers by themselves," Catherine continued. "So we are never part of the deal."
However, she explained that trained staff are on hand at all times to provide assistance if needed.
According to Catherine, there are panic buttons in each room which alert the team and they aim to be there 'within eight seconds' from the moment it is pressed.
"I've been there eight years and nothing happened, like, nothing violent," Catherine added. "It's usually an accident, because it looks like a normal button."
