A bloke has left the internet baffled by getting the words 'hot dogs' tattooed across his forehead inside an inking of a cross. Each to their own, I suppose.

In a video shared with his followers, TikTok account @nomad_radtattoo unveiled the bizarre handiwork, which has been branded the 'eternal job stopper' by viewers.

Although many blasted the tattoo and questioned why anybody would pay for it, others were impressed and amused by the outlandish undertaking.

In the caption, the Vancouver-based tattoo artist wrote: "Finally excited to have a face tat. It’s gonna be sick...he said."

It's not clear why this customer opted to get a tattoo named after the grilled sausage, but it's evidently not his first time under the ink pen, as he can be seen to have other tattoos along his arms in the video.

It's certainly... interesting.

Although the customer's reaction to the final outcome isn't shown, he seems to express no hesitation during the inking process and exclaims that the face tattoo is going to be 'sick'.

At one point, he is asked if his parents will be 'proud' when they see his latest tattoo, to which he replies, "Yeah, for sure."

The video, which also shows the process of the tat coming together, has been viewed over five million times and drawn condemnation from TikTok users.

Many of the criticisms came from fellow tattoo artists, who insisted they would refuse to create the tattoo shown in the video.

It's a no from me.

A fellow tattooist commented: "There were certain tattoos that I refused to do. This would have been in that category," as another said: "I was a tattooist for 8 years..I would of refused to do this for his own good."

Another user wrote: "When I think I have a bad tattoo I’m just gonna reference back to this video," whilst someone else said: "Every time I make a terrible decision, ill re-watch this and I'll feel better about it."

A fellow critic said: "Why didn't you refuse this? Big red flag for a tattoo artist to agree to do whatever tattoo they're asked to do."

Fair play.

Not all the responses were negative however, as one commenter remarked: "I'm upset I didn't get to do that tattoo."

Another admirer commented: "This looks really great actually," whilst a fellow supporter wrote: "I’m proud of you. Idk how much that means but i think this may be one of the best face tats ever."

One man wrote: "It's a really cool tattoo, but not on the forehead."

Safe to say, he isn't the first bloke to get an unusual face inking - check out this guy who got a full size Stella tat on the back of his head.
