A man who works with the victims of narcissists said he once had a narcissist confess to him the 'most evil' things they do to people.

Many people are fascinated to learn how narcissists think and act, possibly as a way of spotting them early on and avoiding the possible hassle and drama that might come from getting involved with them.

There have been plenty of warnings about the 'red flags' to be on the lookout for, with experts saying that keeping a narcissist around could cost you your 'sanity and even your life'.

Narcissists can 'erode a person so that they no longer recognise themselves', so spotting the signs and learning how to steer clear is a useful thing to know.

However, some people are there to deal with the impact narcissists have on others.

There's a bloke on TikTok calling himself @narcabusecoach who says he tries to help survivors of narcissistic abuse.

He recently recounted a meeting he had with a narcissist where they confessed about one of the things they'd do to people that was particularly 'evil'.

"Once I accidentally ended up having a session with a narcissist and he confessed to one of the most evil things they do," the TikToker said.

"I asked him 'what do you get out of targeting people', he said 'I like bringing people down, especially those who are influential, who have achieved a lot in their life, who are empathetic, who are kind and compassionate.'"

The narcissist continued by saying they 'love how much they have to offer' and admitted to being jealous of them 'so I destroy their lives'.

The TikToker said: "That is sadism. I was taken aback but that was really interesting to hear from a narcissist."

Plenty of people in the comments chimed in with their experience of dealing with narcissists, saying they'd heard narcissists say they 'like seeing people cry' and that what he was describing sounded a lot like the 'hell they endured'.

A diagnosed narcissist said that there was one question he had to find out whether someone else was like him or not.

He said he would ask: "Don't you think that there are just objectively better and worse people in the world, and people who are superior and inferior and the rest of the world just wants to ignore that?"

Meanwhile, someone else who said they were a 'self-aware narcissist' said that narcissists did not want to see you happy or successful.
