A private detective has listed the five jobs where he reckons people are most likely to cheat.
He ought to know, since a lot of private detective work centres on people trying to find out whether their partner is cheating on them or not.
Plenty of them say they can spot the signs of cheating and the changes in behaviours you need to be aware of if you're wondering what goes on that you don't know about.
They know the common signs and red flags to be aware of as well as the places where people most often go to cheat, including how men will so often pay a visit to the carwash if they're getting ready to cheat.
Advert
According to Metro, private detective Paul Evans has a list of five jobs where he's found people are most likely to cheat for all sorts of reasons.

The IT department
Yes, those helpful souls who are always there to fix your computer when something goes wrong and turning it off and on again isn't working are apparently prone to cheating, according to the private detective.
Of course, we all love our IT teams, they're the real heroes of any workplace and I'm not just saying that to butter them up in case I need their help.
However, Evans, from I-Spy Detectives, said he deals with 'more cases in the IT sector' then expected and they have another skill which aids them in their cheating.
Apparently, IT professionals are good at covering their digital tracks when it comes to cheating so it can be hard to trace them, and they've got a ready made excuse if they're always on their phone to someone else that it's a work thing.

Sales reps
This is a job where you get to travel around, meet lots of new people and possibly stay in hotels a long way from home, which opens up a lot of opportunities for cheating.
The private detective said these people were 'persuasive by nature' which helped them stay on top of the social side of cheating, and explained that he'd followed sales reps around and found they were cheating with 'colleagues and sometimes randomers' at the bar of whichever hotel they were staying at.

Flight attendants
Once again there's lots of travel and staying elsewhere, and Evans says that flying great distances can 'increase temptation' and 'boundaries can quickly fade' when you're half the world away.
He said: "We investigated a married flight attendant who frequently worked long-haul.
"She started to become distant, and when we looked into it, she had been meeting a pilot from another airline during her stopovers. They had been booking into the same hotels for months."
Ouch.

Call centre workers
You probably wouldn't expect it, but the private investigator says people who work closely together and 'are under pressure every day' can form some quite tight bonds.
These friendships which are formed so people can get through the day's allotment of work stress then 'cross the line' as people are just so close to each other for so long.

Medical professionals
This one you could probably guess.
They do some remarkable life saving work but ask the question of which profession is most likely to cheat and you'll get loads of people who worked in hospitals saying they know plenty of stories.
High stress and close proximity play a role, and Evans said he knew of one case where a nurse was having an affair with a doctor on night shifts and hooking up in a spare room in the hospital.
That sort of thing does happen, one married surgeon even walked out in the middle of an operation to have sex with a nurse who was very definitely not his wife, with the pair caught in a 'compromising position' in an operating theatre that wasn't being used at the time.
