Man drinking 2,000 pints in 200 days invites people to join him for final ‘day of reckoning’

Man drinking 2,000 pints in 200 days invites people to join him for final ‘day of reckoning’

Jon May has made it to the end of his mission after drinking a mega amount of pints

After several weeks and many months, the big day is here.

The final day of Jon May’s beer drinking challenge, obviously.

Aiming to drink 2,000 pints in 200 days, the lad has finally made it to day 200.

And if you’ve not been keeping up with his mission then yes, you read that right.

The 25-year-old has been attempting to drink the whopping number of pints in a challenge documented on his TikTok.

But before we do go any further, we need to point out that you certainly shouldn’t drink this many pints of alcohol – it’s definitely not recommended by health professionals.

During his 200-day mission, Jon has been met by doubters, he’s revealed the mega amounts of cash he’s splashed and he’s put on a bit of weight.

And yet he’s stuck to it. He’s made it. The big 200.

In yesterday’s (19 October) morning update, he revealed he had so far swigged 1,989 pints and aimed to save a final 10 for today – a big Friday I’d say.

He’s already called today the ‘day of reckoning’ and he’s actually invited people to go along and enjoy it with him.

Jon said to his loyal followers yesterday: “Tomorrow is going to be absolutely mental, cannot wait. It’s essentially the final role call and if you want to turn up, you are more than welcome.

“The postcode is CV9 1ET called Market Tavern. I’m gonna be there from about midday, the final pint will be at about, don’t know, four, five, six – any of them times. Depends how many I have on the train.”

We’re not sure how that pub in a little town outside of Birmingham will feel about Jon’s thousands of followers going along to meet him for a drink though, so maybe have one for him in your local.

Users hailed the bloke’s progress in the comments, writing: “Give this guy a knighthood,” and even, “More phenomenal than that bloke running the length of Africa."

In his newest video today, as he commutes to the pub to drink a load of pints, Jon says: “My life has never been this mental, and I don’t think it will be this mental ever again.”

Standing alongside people commuting to work from the train station, he added: “I’ve woken up to essentially go to one of the biggest p**s-ups this country has ever seen or will ever see and I can’t wait.

“My life man, you lot have made my life beautiful. Love it.”
