Strange theory about people who have ‘never broken a bone’

Some people have never experienced the ordeal of spending endless weeks in a cast or sling

If the integrity of your skeleton has never been compromised, one of these strange theories might explain why.

Bumps, bruises and broken bones are commonplace for some people, whereas others have never experienced the ordeal of spending endless weeks in a cast or sling.

It's worryingly easy to sustain this kind of injury sometimes, as one clumsy movement can end up costing you.

Genetics, the strength of your musculoskeletal system and the kind of lifestyle you lead are just some of the things that play a part in how susceptible you are to breaking bones.

Sheer luck has something to do with it too, in the eyes of a lot of people.

And according to this social media user, one of these spiritual theories could also provide an explanation for the lack of broken bones in your life.

In a clip shared earlier this year, a content creator who dubs herself 'Sara's Weird World' explained her thoughts on why some people seem to end up at the A&E department a lot less than others.

"There are some crazy theories about people who have never broken a bone," she told her more than 386,000 TikTok followers.

Sara explained that a lot of people think they have avoided snapping parts of their skeleton because of 'spiritual protection'.

"Apparently, there is a spiritual reason to why people have never broken a bone," she continued.

"That's because they are protected by spiritual protection. Almost 'untouchable' in a weird sense. Protected by the higher powers."

The next idea revolves around karma, as Sara explained that those who are putting positive energy out into the world might be being rewarded by avoiding broken bones.

"The theory is that these types of people possess good karma, positive karma, which they've earned by doing actions and kind deeds," she said.

"This protects the individuals from coming to any harm."

And lastly, Sara recited a theory which takes inspiration from the religious belief of reincarnation.

"It is said that those people in this life who have never broken a bone may have experienced significant trauma in a past life," she added.

"So, the theory suggests that they are being spared from having similar experiences in this life," Sara said.

The video has racked up more than 5.4 million views online, so it seems a lot of people are intrigued by how some people make it through life without ever breaking a bone.

Social media users flooded the comment section with their thoughts on the supposed 'spiritual' explanations.

One person wrote: "I've never broken any bones. This strangely makes sense to me."

Another made another suggestion to explain the phenomenon, saying: "Or their just not that adventurous, or their job isn't that hard, or their too scared to do something dangerous?"

A third bragged: "I fell out of trees, had motor vehicle accidents, been shot, fell off my scooter, had physical fights, haven't broken anything yet."

While a fourth chimed in saying: "It's called being careful."

But what do you think?
