A woman has told how she believes a psychic 'predicted' her horror accident, which left her needing part of her skull removed.
Hannah Roper visited a fortune teller in April last year, who she claims told her to be wary if she ever visited the nearby town of Fenton, Staffordshire.
After supposedly looking into the future, the clairvoyant warned the 24-year-old to 'watch her drink' if she ever did end up in the area. From there on out, Hannah avoided the place for 'months' after being spooked by the psychic's hunch - and when she finally found herself in Fenton, the carer ended up leaving in an ambulance.

Disaster struck shortly after she had shared a bottle of rosé wine with a pal in a local pub in October last year.
Take a look at this:
She ended up going back to her friend's boyfriend's house and at one point nipped to the loo - but unfortunately, she never made it there.
"We didn't drink much more," Hannah explained. "I said I was going to the toilet, and then she heard a 'bang' and I was at the bottom of the [cellar] stairs."

The carer suspects she accidentally mistook the cellar door for the bathroom one, seeing her 'slip down' the staircase.
Hannah continued: "I was bleeding from my nose and my ear, and I was in and out of consciousness.
"They put me in the recovery position because I was being sick. I had no bruises, so I must have just hit my head.
"All I remember then is being at the hospital, but I don't remember much because of the injury and because I was on very strong painkillers.
"Doctors said that if they hadn't called the ambulance I would have died. A silly drunk mistake could have cost me my life."

After arriving at The Royal Stoke University Hospital in Stoke-on-Trent, Hannah was diagnosed with a bleed on the brain.
Medics informed her that part of the left side of her skull needed to be removed to relieve the pressure and reduce the swelling.
"Within 10 minutes they had told my mum I needed to be taken into surgery else I would die before the end of the night," Hannah said.
She underwent a three-hour emergency surgery where half of the left side of her skull was removed, and a drain was fitted into her head to unload the blood from her brain to reduce the swelling.

During her two-week hospital stay, it dawned on Hannah that the psychic she had visited in 2024 had forewarned her about visiting Fenton after having a drink.
Recalling the premonition, Hannah said: "There's a town near me called Fenton, and she asked if I ever go out there. I said I sometimes do.
"She told me to be careful and watch my drink. I didn't go for months, and then I went, and this happened. She predicted my accident."

Hannah was forced to spend the following five months wearing a helmet to protect her exposed brain before she underwent a second surgery this year.

The three-hour operation in April allowed medics to insert a metal plate into her head to replace the part of her skull which was removed.
"I will now have a metal plate in my head for life," Hannah explained. "Part of my head is going to be metal for life."
Thankfully, she says she has not been left with any permanent brain damage after her traumatic fall - but she does get extremely fatigued and dizzy daily.
"Because it's an injury to my brain, it can affect everything," Hannah explained. "I went away in August in Spain, and [my injury] affected my temperature control, and I was sick every day.
"I now have hormonal imbalances because of it too now."
Ahead of her second operation, almost five months ago, Hannah shaved her entire head and raised more than £2,000 for the brain injury charity, Headway.
She has been wearing wigs while her hair grows back.
