Woman leaves people horrified after admitting she doesn’t wash pyjamas after every wear

She's sparked quite the debate online

One woman has left people horrified after admitting she doesn’t wash pyjamas after every wear.

The lass, Allison Delperdang, took to TikTok to ask what everyone 'as adults' do with their jammies and has since sparked quite the heated discussion online surrounding the matter.

Allison revealed she wears her pyjamas multiple nights in a row before washing them and it seems the laundry police have rolled out in full force to slam her after insisting that people should wash their PJs after every single wear. Take a look:

"I need to know if people wear pyjamas, like, multiple nights in a row," she began, showing off her night clothes which were in fact a onesie.

Not sure I've actually seen anyone don a onesie since 2014, but hey ho.

She went on: "I’ve worn these, like, three nights in a row. So I need to know if, like, as adults, we’re still doing that, or should I be literally making dirty clothes every single night?"

While many people may find it totally normal to wear their PJs a few days in a row - or even a week at a time - it's clear viewers couldn't believe it.

It seems there really are people who whack on a different pair of pyjamas every single night, with some of them a tad grossed out that Allison doesn't do the same.

One TikTok user commented: "No, because I am wearing them for 8+ hours, they just don't feel clean."

A second penned: "Always fresh every night. Also only use a towel once. Same with my kids."

"No! When you sleep you sweat. Why would I wear that again?" a third hit out.

I'm just thinking about the leaning tower of washing and just how many chests of drawers you'd need for all those jim-jams.

Another comment, however, seriously made me think twice about washing my pyjamas - or trackies and baggy t-shirt.

It read: "I never rewear PJs... we shed dead skin cells constantly and even though it may not be dirty I can't do it lol."

Proper grim that.

Luckily, however, for all the PJ repeaters out there - there were plenty of people who defended Allison and her bedtime ritual assuring her that there was nothing actually bad or unhygienic about it.

"I wear them for like a week straight haha I hate doing laundry," one TikTok user admitted.

"Wait. There [are] people that DON'T wear PJs multiple nights in a row???" a second clearly jarred viewer asked.

"Saving the environment and your clothes!" chimed in a third. "If it's not dirty/smelly then why wash it? I wear mine for a week in winter!"

Where do you stand - or sleep - in the PJ debate?
