A woman has shown the difference in her face after being injected with Botox, and commenters had a lot to say about the results.
Botox is a controversial topic, with many having different opinions on whether it’s something you should be doing.
As well as people debating if it’s good to change your face cosmetically, there have also been some studies on the long-term effects of Botulinum toxin.
But a lot of individuals who have had the injections are pretty pleased with their impact on smoothing out the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

However, it also means that you’re not able to do something with your face after you undergo the cosmetic procedure, with one doctor demonstrating just that.
To show the reality of the effects of Botox, nurse Colleen McManus had portions of her face injected by Dr Ariel Ostad, MD.
It revealed that it essentially took away the appearance of her wrinkles in her injection sites (forehead, chin, neck and jaw).
But Colleen was also unable to move her muscles as well as before the Botox.

The description of the video, which was posted on YouTube, reads: “Our nurse injector, Colleen, was concerned about the appearance of the lines on her forehead, her frown lines, the dimpling on her chin, and the strong platysmal bands on her neck.
“We treated her with Botox injections to relax the muscles and help reduce the appearance of these areas of concern.”
Once injected, Botox blocks signals being sent from nerves to the muscles, so that they can no longer contract, therefore giving the appearance of smoother-looking skin.
According to the company, ‘Botox injections have revolutionised the field of cosmetic dermatology by offering a safe and minimally invasive solution to combat the signs of ageing’ as it ‘targets dynamic wrinkles caused by repeated muscle contractions, such as crow's feet, forehead lines, frown lines, gummy smile, chin dimpling, as well as many other areas’.
However, it takes around two weeks to settle and for the full results to be revealed, and from there, it typically lasts around three to four months.

All in all, it seems people learned something from the clip.
