To demonstrate the difference a bit of Botox can make, this doctor injected one half of her husband's face.
Although Dr Katie Beleznay's spouse was left with an unsymmetrical mug at the end of the experiment, it's a small price to pay to show us the power of botulinum toxin.
Her other half, Ben, thankfully doubles up as her 'social media collaborator' and he volunteered to be a human guinea pig so that the medical and cosmetic dermatologist could show off her work.
Dr Beleznay regularly shares handy tips and tricks online with her tens of thousands of followers, as well as nuggets of knowledge about the best ways to care for our skin.

But sometimes, beauty products simply won't do - and certain people instead turn to Botox in an attempt to achieve a more youthful appearance.

Dr Beleznay describes neuromodulators such as Botox - which are chemical substances that alter nerve signal transmission - as a 'natural and safe method of temporarily improving wrinkles and signs of ageing'.
On her website, the Vancouver-based medic explains that precise injections can 'temporarily relax targeted facial muscles', which results in a 'smoother, more refreshed' look for her clients.
Which is all well and good, but a lot of folks prefer to see the proof in the pudding.
And that's where Dr Beleznay's glamorous assistant Ben comes in - as the father-of-two allowed his wife to inject the right side of his face with Botox to show people exactly how it works.
In a clip shared to her YouTube channel in December last year, she explained she would be pumping the prescription drug into a few specific areas of her spouse's face.
The medic detailed how she would be targeting Ben's frown lines, forehead, crow's feet and 'jelly roll' - which is cosmetology lingo for the lower eyelid area.
As well as this, she was also focusing on her husband's DAO muscle, which pulls down the corners of the mouth, and the platysma muscle in his neck, which contributes to facial expressions and mouth movements.

It's safe to say that she managed to shave a few years off Ben after going in with a few syringes, as the difference in the left and right sides of his face was hard to ignore.
Explaining the results two weeks after her husband's treatment, Dr Beleznay said: "You can see him smiling with softening of the crow's feet on the right hand side, and his eye looks a bit more open with treatment of the jelly roll.
"When he's lifting his brows, you can see the right side has fewer lines and is smoother compared to the left.
"With smiling, you can see again the difference between the two sides.
"And then lastly, when he grimaces or does his mouth frown, you can see his left side pulls down more and he has a strong neckband."
Social media users seemed to love the clip, as one person commented: "I actually know very little about Botox, so this video was very eye-opening!"
Dr Beleznay then comically responded: "Glad to hear it was helpful. Makes it worth it for my husband too!"
The Canadian couple aren't the first people to carry out this kind of experiment, as another doctor previously offered herself up as a 'lab rat' to prove the power of Botox.
Dr Bita Farrell also injected just one side of her face for 'the sake of science and education', before sharing an update on how it had all settled two weeks later.
