Woman reveals how taking Mounjaro has led to her and husband having sex 'four times a week' like 'kids again'

Jackie, who has been taking Mounjaro since February, claimed the 'passion' is back in her relationship

A woman has claimed that Mounjaro had done more than just help her lose weight, crediting the jabs with giving her a livelier sex life too.

Jackie Collins has lost almost three stone (19.5kg) in six months since starting the GLP-1 medication, having been 17st 11lbs at her heaviest.

The 44-year-old decided to give Mounjaro a go after a number of diets ultimately came to no avail and her friend suggested trying it.

After starting the jabs, she quickly noticed her feelings of hunger lessening.

Jackie has ditched the snacks for a balanced diet and after starting at a dosage of 2.5mg, she has gradually increased this along with her weight loss.

Now aiming to add exercise into her new healthy lifestyle, the shop fitter also opened up on her drastically improved sex life with partner Carl, 44.

Speaking about her increased 'passion', Jackie pointed out: "Before, the times we were intimate were few and far between - I didn't feel sexy, so how could he find me sexy?"

She went on, saying that 'it was never him' that was the problem, and that things are different now.

"Since I've started getting that confidence back, the passion's come back. We've gone from a couple of times a month to three or four times a week," Jackie revealed.

"We're like kids again, which is great."

The claim comes contrary to what other GLP-1 drug users have found though, as many have claimed the opposite with a loss in libido.

Doctors have since backed these claims up, explaining that the brain's reward system and dopamine pathways can be affected.

In a change from the diets and walks which weren't working, Jackie admitted: "Diets would spark out and I'd comfort eat and binge eat again - it was a vicious circle."

She even did a charity walk for motor neurone disease, but after completing 75 miles in three weeks, she lost just two pounds.

Mounjaro has been far different though, as she instantly saw a weight drop and noticed that her 'hunger wasn't there'.

"I'd have it on my mind all the time and a few weeks after I started it, that's when I really noticed that my hunger wasn't there," she added.

Jackie went on: "You think you're hungry, you go to eat and you're not. I'm now eating correctly, have lots of protein and more water."

While she eats meals, the amount is far less than it was before.

She admitted that she 'hardly put anything' on her plate when making a roast dinner for people without needing to think.

She spoke about the improvement in body confidence too, explaining: "A while ago I bought a red dress and when I wore it all the buttons were popping.

"I went and saw Craig David and now I was able to wear the dress and I felt amazing."
