The six-parter stars Rupert Friend as James Whitehouse, a Conservative MP whose affair with a researcher is making headlines

Anatomy Of A Scandal viewers are realising where they recognise the ‘creepy’ girl from.

The new Netflix series is based on a book of the same name by Sarah Vaughan and is about the scandalous nature of Britain’s political system.

People have already binge-watched their way through all six episodes and the huge twist has got them hooked.

The show stars Rupert Friend as James Whitehouse, a Conservative MP whose affair with a researcher is making headlines.

Alongside Friend, the star-studded cast includes Sienna Miller as Sophie Whitehouse, Naomi Scott as Olivia Lytton and Michelle Dockery as Kate Woodcroft, to name a few.

However, viewers have recalled that 11-year-old actor, Amelie Bea Smith, previously played the eerie role as the creepy 'perfectly splendid' girl from The Haunting of Bly Manor.

Smith played the part so well that viewers still remember her frightening performance.

One user wrote: "I have a feeling Amelie Bea Smith (the little girl from Haunting of Bly Manor and Anatomy of a Scandal, etc) is going to be a brilliant actress one day. I’ll retweet this when y’all start noticing."

Another added: "I'm watching anatomy of a scandal and the actress who played flora in bly manor is in it."

Someone else commented: "Started anatomy of a scandal and the little girl from bly manor is in here what a slay."

Well, in the show, Olivia Lytton (Naomi Scott) accuses James Whitehouse (Rupert Friend) of sexual assault.

His wife Sophie (Sienna Miller) decides to support him and stands by her husband throughout the trial, in which lawyer Kate Woodhouse (Michelle Dockery) tries to convince a jury of Whitehouse's guilt.

The twist went down a storm, with one viewer tweeting: “Anatomy of a Scandal. The female leads Michelle Dockery & Sienna Miller carried the whole damn show.

"The plot twist was excellent, and the ending is mmmh *chef's kiss*.

"BTW cheating is inexcusable. Don't let anyone tell you it is a mistake. S/he will do it again.”

A third gushed: “Anatomy of a Scandal was brilliant. Never trust someone who can twist the truth and lie so easily. Sounds too familiar right now!”

Other enthusiastic tweets included: “Just finished Anatomy of a Scandal. It's a must watch, I didn't expect the plot twist!”

The official synopsis reads: "Parliamentary minister James Whitehouse is a happily married man with a loving family home, then a scandalous secret comes to light."
