Brooklyn Beckham Confirms He's Changed His Name In Post To Wife Nicola

Brooklyn Beckham has unveiled his new married name on Instagram after wedding Nicola Peltz at the weekend, having changed his handle to reflect the update to his surname.

The two were married at a lavish ceremony at an oceanfront estate in Palm Beach, Florida, that belongs to Nicola's billionaire father.

It seems that 23-year-old Brooklyn has decided to take his new wife's surname to add to his own, having changed his Instagram handle to @brooklynpeltzbeckham - also confirming the change with a snap from the big day, writing in the caption: "Mr. & Mrs. Peltz Beckham."

He then shared another photo of his 'beautiful bride', before posting a picture of himself with dad David and brothers Romeo and Cruz, captioning it: "The boys."

Brooklyn, who is the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, married actor and heiress Nicola on Saturday (9 April).

His dad was said to have found the day an emotional affair, having been reportedly unable to hold back the tears as he recalled the day his first child was born.

An insider told The Sun: “David’s speech went on for about five minutes and he looked to shed a tear at one point.

“He was talking about when Brooklyn was born and how he wanted to protect him.

“He said he was sleeping on the hospital floor, holding the door shut because he didn’t want to let anyone get in.

“David got a lump in his throat and had to stop and take a breather to regain his composure, but it was a very sweet speech.”

In a tribute to Nicola during a pre-party on Friday night, Becks also reportedly told his daughter-in-law-to-be that she would be a welcome addition to the crew, saying: “We love you so much. We are excited that you’ll be part of the family.”

As for Brooklyn, he already has a number of tributes to his long-term partner tattooed on his body, including an inking of a letter she once wrote him on his neck and upper back.

The letter reads: “My forever boy. Read this anytime you feel anxious.

"I want you to know how deeply loved you are.

“You have the kindest heart I’ve ever met and hope I never go a day without your love.

“I think you are so incredible.

"Just we can get through it all together if you breathe slow and trust. I love you beyond.

“Love always, your future wifey."
