Amanda Holden has shocked her followers by recreating an infamous scene from cult favourite thriller and mystery film Basic Instinct.
The radio presenter and Britain's Got Talent judge shared a post to her Instagram profile on Thursday (29 October) with her 3.1 million followers.
In it, there was a side-by-side video of her sitting on a black sofa in a long-sleeved white dress, with a pen prop as a cigar and sporting slick straight hair.
Along with the caption: "Some Call it Basic instinct, I call it outfit of the day", Amanda is seen crossing her legs to mimic the scene in the film involving Catherine, played by Sharon Stone.

She is then heard saying: "It's nice?" in time with the original 1992 movie clip.

Fans were quick to respond to the video, which went on to document her time in the Heart radio studio as she complimented the shape of the dress.
The 1992 thriller centres on author Catherine, played by Stone, who becomes a suspect after the brutal murder of a rock star.
Meanwhile, detective Nick Curran - played by Michael Douglas - is brought in to help the case but ends up getting into an affair with the prime suspect instead.
The movie was a hit, but certainly didn't shy away from explicit content.
This included the scene remade by Holden, in which Catherine is seen crossing her legs with no underwear on while being questioned by detectives.
At the time of its release, women's rights groups also protested the film over its negative depiction of women, with a branch of The National Organisation for Women calling the film 'the most blatantly misogynistic film in recent memory.'

It was later revealed in 2021 that Stone said she had been tricked into removing her underwear by director Paul Verhoeven.
In a piece for Vanity Fair she explained how she became aware of the scene after watching it in a room ‘full of agents and lawyers, most of whom had nothing to do with the project’.

She recalled: "That was how I saw my vagina-shot for the first time, long after I’d been told, 'We can’t see anything - I just need you to remove your panties, as the white is reflecting the light, so we know you have panties on'."
She later claimed she had lashed out at Verhoeven by slapping him 'across the face' before calling her lawyer.
Following publication of the article, Verhoeven responded and said his recollection of the incident was different.
In an interview with Deadline, he said: “She didn’t slap me at all. My memory is that [that scene] is all based on a woman that I met when I was a student in Leiden, at the university.
"She would do that: she would come up to us and she would open her legs. My friend and I saw her doing that, so went up to her and said something like, ‘We can see your vagina’. And then she said, ‘Of course - that’s why I’m doing it!’
“I told that story to Sharon when we were having dinner together during the shoot, and she thought it would be great idea to do that. So, that’s my memory."
