It's been a tricky romantic road for Cara Delevingne, star of Suicide Squad and Carnival Row.
While stopping by Spotify Studios for the latest episode of The Louis Theroux Podcast - make sure to check out his conversation with Marco Pierre White from earlier in the series, too - the 33-year-old reflected on the difficulty of coming out as a lesbian.
During this segment of their chat, Delevingne confirmed that she'd drifted between identifying as pansexual and bisexual for a time, but one slightly brutal caveat meant she's never truly been able to devote herself to a man.
"I think men are attractive," she told Theroux. "I think if you're a lesbian, you can still find men attractive. I've never been in love with a man, so I think that classifies me as a lesbian."

The podcast host, who recently claimed he could relate to modern day incels, then asked his guest why it had taken her so long to figure out.
"Because it's hard being gay," Delevingne replied. "I think basic human instinct is to go for an easier path. But you can't fight against who you are.
"I think there was always an element of people poking fun at it, which was fine because I did it too, people close to me," she went on to elaborate.
"Because also, I guess I didn't feel very seen for it, but I also know that my own personality is, I would take the piss of myself, brush it under the rug, and not want to talk about it. But there's a part deep down that you always want to feel understood a bit more."

Elsewhere on the podcast, the Only Murders in the Building favourite was also quizzed on 'the Johnny Depp thing', in reference to the iconic actor's alleged paranoia that his wife at the time, Amber Heard, was sleeping with Delevingne.
"Am I meant to comment?" she said. "It's because we did a movie together, and it was called London Fields. He was also doing the movie. I think he was pretty driven crazy by jealousy. Nothing was happening at that point. Later, after they divorced, it had, I suppose. No, I don't suppose. I know. Yeah."
Keen to dig deeper into the nature of the pair's relationship, Theroux launched an 'entanglement' bomb in the chat, with Delevingne left unsure whether connotations to this word were bad.
"I think it means a relatively short-lived liaison or series of physical encounters," Theroux clarified, to which his guest answered: "We were close for a long time, and then when they were going through the divorce, yeah, we were entangled, I suppose.
"But she was also entangled with other people."
