People relieved for Snoop Dogg's blunt roller as him 'quitting smoke' is revealed to be a publicity stunt

Snoop Dogg had the internet in a chokehold last week when he announced that he would 'quit the smoke' for 'family reasons'.

If there was one person who ever thought their job was safe, it was certainly Snoop Dogg's blunt roller - Renegade Piranha.

In case you missed it, the 52-year-old took to social media on 16 November to say: "I'm giving up smoke.

"After much consideration & conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke.

"Please respect my privacy at this time."

Fans were, of course, shocked by the rapper's announcement and took to social media to share their surprise.

One person commented: "Damn, the world is really really coming to an end." While another posted: “Today isn’t April Fools day Snoop."

Funny they should say that because it may not be April but Snoop was, in fact, laughing at us all behind closed doors as he revealed the truth behind his announcement today (20 November).

Far from ditching weed, he had just signed up with a barbecue/smoke pit company called Solo Stove to promote their new smokeless fire pit.

Snoop had everyone fooled.

And it's safe to say his loyal fans weren't best pleased with the revelation.

Reacting to the advert, which was posted to X, one person said: "Bro had the worlds stoners questioning their life choices for this ad."

Another commented: "Of course it was all an ad."

"All this for some promo smh," put a third.

While someone else lamented: "Everything is marketing."

When the fake news was announced - and after the initial shock - the one person on everyone's mind was Snoop's blunt roller, Renegade. Given how much Snoop has admitted to smoking, you can imagine she probably thought she had the best job security on the planet.

Many took to social media to share their concerns.

One user penned: SNOOP! I was so worried about your blunt roller, I thought bro was out of a job lol."

Thank God she's not out of a job.

Another chimed in: "His blunt roller was stressed!!!"

With a third simply adding: "His blunt roller isn’t out of a job after all."

Last November, Snoop publicly accused Renegade of lying about his weed consumption.

Renegade - a professional roller - allegedly said that Snoop smokes the equivalent of 75-100 blunts per day.

However, she later insisted that she never made such comment.

Speaking to TM Hip Hop, Renegade opened up on her interview on the The Kyle and Jackie O Show, where she was asked how many blunts she rolls in a day.

She said she rolls about a quarter pound to half a pound a day, but made it clear that total amount wasn’t solely for the rapper.

"That’s for all my clients combined," Renegade said.
